"Pretty view on a nice deck. The comfy couches and huge screen TV (with great sound) were awesome for watching movies in the evening. The home is also about 30 minutes from Asheville which is convenient. There were lots of reminders around the house to take care of the home, take off shoes, be quiet, etc. which sometimes made it feel less welcoming. The mattresses need to be replaced - they tend to sag to the middle or are very hard. Also, it would be nice to have some curtains on the glass French doors that open to the master bedroom. Kitchen cookware needs to be replaced/upgraded as well. The game room is on a concrete floor in a converted garage and it's a bit damp (unheated) down there so not really conducive to hanging out and playing the games unfortunately. However, the loft was very nice with a great view. We appreciated the separate thermostat in the master bedroom. The home is in a private location while still being close enough to town. The stars at night are an absolutely beautiful. Our stay was good. With a few updates here and there it could really shine. P.S. Don't let the reviews about the "steep or scary" drive up to the home bother you. Truly it's not bad at all. We stay in the mountains all the time and driveways are steep. This one is actually one of the better ones out there. :)"

"Very clean and family friendly! Loved every bit of it and my grandson enjoyed all the toddler toys as well as a few visits from deer! Highly recommend for a stay close to all that Asheville has to offer!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this quaint cabin tucked away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Weaverville! The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet an easy drive to downtown Asheville. The cabin had plenty of space, and the porch with the hot tub was a highlight. The views were absolutely beautiful and made us feel like we were staying in a treehouse surrounded by nature! While the cabin isn’t super updated, it has a cozy, rustic charm that adds to its mountain-cabin feel. Unique antiques decorating walls and bookshelves. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing mountain getaway with beautiful views and convenient access to everything Asheville has to offer!"

"I honestly can’t say enough good things about this little cabin! It was absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip. From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care had been put into the space. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and so cozy and welcoming. Every little detail seemed to have been thought of.But what really made our stay stand out were the hosts. They were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond anything I have experienced before when renting a place. They were so attentive to us and incredibly easy to communicate with. They gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area and places to eat, which was so helpful during our trip. When we arrived, they had even left goodies for us in the refrigerator! It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch and made us feel welcomed from the minute we got there. You can truly tell that these hosts care about their guests and want them to have a wonderful experience. Between the beautiful, immaculate cabin and their incredible hospitality, I really can’t brag on this place enough. We had such a wonderful girls’ weekend and made some great memories here. I would recommend this cabin without hesitation, and if we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely stay here again!I would also like to mention there is an awesome story behind how this little gem came to be. Be sure to ask about it"
