It has several cozy nooks and reading spaces for when you just want to relax. The remote-controlled fireplaces were also a nice touch when the temperatures were cooler.The owner, Brea, has truly thought of everything—you’ll find the home stocked with anything you might need and more. She went above and beyond with communication, providing clear details about check-in, the property, and the surrounding area. "We spent 4 nights at the cottage last weekend and absolutely loved it. The minimalist atmosphere was perfect for our relaxing retreat. We were able to visit many sites around Asheville enjoying the scenic drives from the cabin and come back to the peace and quiet of the horse pasture. Stepping out onto the back deck with the mountains in the distance, the horses below us and the sounds of turkeys gobbling in the distance was nothing short of rejuvenating. The landscaping of the grounds is beautiful and only made us wish we were visiting in late May to early June to see all of the blooms.We would definitely recommend this cottage for a couple looking for a relaxing weekend. The only item of concern is the spiral staircase which may be difficult for older visitors to climb up and down while carrying a suitcase."

"The property was accommodating to our group size and had a very beautiful view! Communication prior to our visit could have been key but instead there was some stress on our trip due to a broken oven that was not communicated prior to arrival. The host did refund us 1 night stay to make it right but all could have been avoided if there was just more communication so meals could have been rearranged since we planned on cooking our entire stay."
