Savannah Stay

They area was wonderful. Restaurants within walking distance. We found a wonderful Italian restaurant 800 feet away also the cafe down the street 400 feet from the house was wonderful. Parking is tight. We found it better to back in (need to watch out for the black poles) I would recommend management doing few upgrades kitchen and bathroom out dated. The vanities are from the 80's with only be 30 inch high instead of todays standard of kitchen height- also kitchen needs updated countertops are tiled(so outdated) and cabinets need fixing. However everything was overall fine. Could be a real cute getting way with a few updates

Loved It!

Accurate Photos, clean, well appointed and in a safe central area. All 5 in our group were extremely satisfied with our 4 evening stay and would come back in a heartbeat. For the area the pricing was fair and we felt super safe. Never needed a car to enjoy all that the city offered. EZ check in! We would highly recommend. Do keep in mind that you will hear some road noise but understand where you are

Fun time visiting family

Was great for visiting and sharing time with family. Sleeps six but needs more coffee cups and dishes. Great location for walking to restaurants. Traffic noise added to the excitement of being in the city.

Our stay at the blue house

The blue house is beautifully decorated and having 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths for filled our ladies of 4 perfectly. I did discover as I was packing my toiletries under the lavatory in the master suite, there was a water leak under the sink. It would have been nice if we had a chair in the bedroom, to sit and put shoes on. There was traffic noise, but that is to be expected on a main thoroughfare. There could have been a shelve or chest in the bathrooms to give more space for toiletries. Overall, we had an excellent time in Savannah and thank you.

Beautiful Home to Stay in Savannah

I travelled with a group of 5. The home was perfect for us, with parking (warning the drive in/out of the back parking area is pretty tight, we had a 4 door jeep wrangler for size comparison), and just enough space we didn't feel on top of each other. Location was super convenient and we could walk most places. I would definitely recommend staying here

Comfortable and Clean

Very nice home and very comfortable beds. My only suggestion is that you should bring a sleep mask if you need a dark room to sleep in. The flood lights pour through every window in the house and the venetian blinds are just not significant enough for nlock.it out.

Extended weekend trip

The property was as described. As expected in the historic area, it is an older house but well maintained and equipped with all the essentials. Check-in was straight forward and communication was good. We received a phone call immediately after booking and again prior to arrival with instructions about access and use of the app. As others have noted parking is a little tricky to negotiate but in the end we discovered that backing in was the trick. The house is located at the end of a busy strip but manages to be a block or two away from where the crowds and shops begin. We only noticed a little traffic noise in the front bedrooms on Saturday night but otherwise fine. There is a fantastic coffee shop a block away (912 Brew) and the location is easily walkable to the River Street area, many restaurants, shops and Leopold's ice cream. The City Market and Forsyth Park are a bit further but also walkable, if so inclined. Our group of 5 had plenty of space and would return without question.

Great location

The house was a great spot for a girls trip. Appreciated having one of the 3 bedrooms on the main floor. The location was convenient to so many things. Savannah is a town that you will do a lot of walking…this was a central location, so it was nice to be nearby and able to walk practically anywhere. The parking in the back is very tight…like many have mentioned. We had two vehicles (two larger suvs) and we made it work. Will be back…more to see and do.

Girls Weekend

College roommate reunion trip with 5 girls. House was perfect size and walkable to shopping, restaurants, events, etc. House is very authentic with all wood floors and period moldings. The street is rather busy and the parking is tight but totally workable for Honda Pilot.

Beware of Parking

Full disclaimer not mentioned in the bio. The driveway of this property is lined with short concrete bollards that are impossible to see, especially during a tropical storm and at night. They are painted black and have nothing reflective on them to assist with navigating. I drove a midsize SUV down the driveway and had maybe a foot of clearance. There is one particular bollard that sits at the end of a planter by itself on the passenger side that is blocked from view by the garage. I unfortunately hit the bollard with my passenger side causing damage to the rear passenger door. Their claim it can fit multiple 3-4 cars is completely inaccurate. Due to the property owners inconsiderate ability to properly mark the hazard or warn of the potential danger I now have to spend thousands of dollars fixing my vehicle. A little yellow paint and some reflectors could have made the difference. Hopefully you read this and don't make the same mistake. Oh and don't steady yourself on the handrails the stair balusters fall off.

Great location

Great location. The parking is very tight and has black poles which can be hit very easily if your parking an suv. The keypad buttons don’t all work the first time (#1 button wasn’t working well). The king size bed had a queen size fitted sheet on it and it kept popping off during our stay. The property was nice besides that though. Only complaint on cleanliness is the shower/sinks caulk or grout needs to be deep cleaned or replaced. It was black and gross. No hand soap in bathrooms.

Quaint home in perfect location

This home is located right in the heart of Savannah’s and convenient to all tourists attractions. Home was very clean, needs a few more kitchen necessities to be considered fully equipped. (There were no baking pans, serving bowls, etc) street is a little noisy at night, but the location and beauty of the home made up for the noise. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to visit, you just may need to bring serving dishes and pans if you have plans to cook in house.

What a wonderful stay at this fantastic historic property!

We stayed at this lively historic home in early December for a long weekend and we had a wonderful experience. Immaculately clean, comfortable beds, and wonderfully situated for walking anywhere in the historic district. Loved that this property offers off street parking. Home is wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. Everything we needed from toiletries to kitchen supplies were all provided. Staff at Lucky Savannah were so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this property!
