The valet parking manager is very mean, insulting, and very slow. He should be fired. We waited for more than 1 hour at the lower level 3 lobby for our car to be brought up. Room smells a little when you just walk in, but you will adapt to it soon. The odor is possibly due old carpet. The check out lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The check in gentleman n did not know how to smile.

Tiny tiny rooms

Pros: Restaurants
Cons: See above plus $24 for breakfast? Seriously?
Location: Downtown Atlanta, great location. Brought the overall rating up to average.
The room was so small. I would have hated to have to share it. There was no vending machine where indicated and no indication of where one could be found. No decaf in the room and cheap single-ply institutional toilet paper. Just niggling details but this was the Hyatt, not Rodeway Inn.

Pros: the atmosphere and set up. The staff was nice and very helpful
Cons: add microwave to all rooms and let customer know if room has a tub/shower combo or not. Was under the impression room would have a tub
Room was nice but did not have a microwave. And although there was an ice and soda machine on the floor, there was not a snack machine. It was a nice atmosphere and very peaceful. Will definitely stay again

Short, two night stay

Booked room with two queen beds, got room with two doubles. Was told hotel had overbooked. Took 20/25 minutes to check in. Hotel location is very good. We walked to the aquariam and civil rights museum. The Corner Bakery, located across the street, is excellent. Very good food, very reasonable prices.

Easy check in – I even got upgraded from a queen room to a king room when the desk associate noticed I was going to be there for four nights. Very clean, soft and plentiful towels, all-around great room.

Small Room bad pillows

Pros: Location
Cons: Most everything.
Location: Right in the center of everything Atlanta. Too much to say too much to do.
Poor directions from the staff led to us having to wander the hotel looking for our room. The room was very small. the bed was uncomfortable. We had three pillows for the queen bed and they were poorly formed and seemed near the end of their life. Steam iron leaked hot water almost burning my hand. Only decaf for the coffee pot in the room. No hand towels. The list seems to go on and on. Nothing terrible but nothing great here either. Definitely not what I expected from one of the most famous of Atlanta's hotels.
