Nice big hotel no parking

It was comfortable and huge. I had 2 adouble bedroom and beds were comfortable with a city view for additional $80. City view added some spice to my room which I did enjoy n the morning. I slept good but every morning housekeeping knock on my door at like 7am or even 6am at times. The thing that I really did not like about the hotel was no parking for my car. I spent $25 per night just parking at a garage a block away from hotel. The hotel valet was $45 a night which was too expensive for me. Overall I had good experience.

Awesome interior. Horrible Service and Staff

Pros: location
Cons: alot
Location: Its Atlanta there is lots of things to do.
After staying here it will be a long time before I will be willing to deal with Marriott again. The hotel itself is fantastic with awesome elevators and exposed atrium but beauty is only skin deep here. I had to continually call for two days to get may room serviced! I even had to call multiple times in one day to have my room made up! When checking out. The very unhelpful staff couldn't even provide me with an itemized bill of my stay. Instead they said I had to contact travelocity. I then contacted Corporate Marriott and they were able to email me an itemized bill and when I informed them of the hotels inability to provide a statement the lady was speechless and said they could've easily provided that for you! Save your $ go somewhere else.

You don't feel that you are staying in a 5 star hotel, two room lights were broken, it was one adult 3 kids and i ask for 4 towels they keep leaving 2 towels, the staff is nice but don't know any information about restaurants or directions around the hotel.

Good location

Nice hotel. Great view inside and good view of city if u get a high enough room. Staff was nice and rooms were nice. Ballrooms were big. I would return. Pool was big........ atlanta had a lot to do. Took an hour ride to the mountains and saw the best views

Great hotel, bad parking

Pros: The friendliness of the staff was great
Cons: They need to re-think the whole parking situation
Location: Downtown Atlanta, close to everything
The hotel and staff were more than gracious! The room was great, clean, and quiet however, the parking situation is unacceptable. The only options are the hotel valet parking, which is $38 per night, or off-site parking for $25 per night. This is the first time in my 63 years on the planet where hotel parking was not free for registered guests. The previous guest in our room had apparently requested a 6am wake-up alarm (only settable from the front desk) and it had not been reset, so we had it go-off the first morning unintentionally. Also, plan ahead for in-room refreshments, as the prices in-house are off the charts.

the facility that was'nt!

Cons: truth in advertising? if any hotel shows an amenity, as an inducement to draw custumers they should simply provide the same.
while i am pleased with how the travel package was assembled, my review of the hotel amenities tour on line indicated a full bath with shower. this in fact, was not the case! as a senior with a periodic arthritic condition my body requires a hot bath every-other day as a minimum. the hotel claimed that a full bath was not part of my package. i insisted that to the best of my knowledge my travel arrangment did include the bath. they appeared to attempt to locate a room with a tub and after awhile they simply gave up. they then said they would recredit my account to travel velocity and recredit a room (extras) fee, via american express. i sought lodging elsewhere and found a great deal with Country-Inn Suites. (breakfast, free internet, airport shuttle). such was my experince..

Fantastic place to stay to enjoy downtown Atlanta.

We made a weekend of seeing ANNIE at the Fox and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse. Both were in walking distance, although we ubered back for safety in the dark. Everywhere we went in this large little city of a hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff who were clearly looking for ways to be helpful. We talked with many of the employees, and many had been working there for decades because it's such a pleasant place to be. The complimentary continental breakfast each morning was an adventure in itself. Made to order eggs, Belgian waffles, omelettes, and pancakes created happily by friendly chefs; shining silver dishes the opened to reveal eggs, potatoes, a variety of sausages, biscuits and gravy, a breads bar with a toaster and interesting jellies, fruits, yogurts, sweet rolls, cereals, oatmeal, and a juice of the gods. I had salmon and shrimp every morning with my eggs. My children said it was better than Waffle House, which is high praise. The pool is lovely, the elevator scenic, and the rooms comfy. We will be back. And soon.
