Staff is aloof and unwelcoming. Corridors are so narrow that it gives you claustrophobia. Neighborhood seems unsafe! Elevators are so tiny and I was so scared what if they break down ! Would never recommend !

I've been coming to this hotel since it was under Night Hotel. But my 1 night stay showed how not all things get better with time. Room floor lopsided, big floor dip in front of bathroom, king bed was hard, bathroom toilet and tub had lingering body hair from previous guest and for a room with a King size bed ... I expected better! As I stated I've stayed at this hotel plenty of times and I don't think I've ever had this kind of experience. Will have to think twice for me to recommend this hotel or stay again.

Night Hotel is a gem in NYC. Justin at the front desk was a superb host! Thank you! The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The room and bathroom were very clean. I am a stickler for details and did not notice anything that made me uncomfortable. Slept very well at Night Hotel. No fridge in the room, so no leftovers to be had. For those on a budget a fridge would allow for beverages to be kept cold and stash some snacks. I did not notice any ice machine (but did not ask either). Loved the neighborhood. Overall a great experience.

good price for early June. Rest of Manhattan unaffordable. Very close to 1, 2, and 3 trains. also near lines at Central park west. Good cafes nearby. Handy to midtown. Could be a little cleaner, but acceptable. quiet! wifi worked fine while we there. stayed 2 nights. would stay again.

The location is excellent. The subway is 2 blocks away. We were 20 blocks from Columbia University, which was our reason for this trip. Lincoln Center is 2 subway stops away. All tourist attractions are easily reached by this subway line. They gave us water bottles. This hotel is by far the cheapest place to stay on the upper west side. The hotel is very old. The bronze rooms are not renovated and are very basic. We asked for a refrigerator and never got one, so we had to throw a lot of food away. There was no dresser. The doors were ancient. The bathroom was better, but there was some rust in the bathtub. The hallways appeared to have relatively new carpet, paint, and lighting. We were charged a resort fee at the property, but this hotel is no resort.
