I've stayed here before. The rooms are nice, clean and well maintained and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I appreciate the coupons they give to use toward breakfast at the French bakery next door. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to everything. I will probably stay here every time I am in Manhattan.

Great hotel, great location.

Clean, comfortable room and bed, friendly helpful staff. First time staying on the upper West side. Nice safe neighborhood, good restaurants in walking distance. Easy bus/subway access, including crosstown (through the park) bus right to Museum of Art. Will definitely stay there again when in NYC.

Hotel was truly lovely, a perfect place to relax and enjoy NYC. After lovely evening we awoke to no internet and after repeated notifications to front desk, who did not work to resolve the matter with any urgency, we ended our stay early to enable us to find another location to get some work done. Very disappointing ending to otherwise perfect stay.

We checked in late-9pm. Turned out they supposedly gave us the “last”room whose AC was out of commission as was their phone. It had been 100 degrees and humid in NYC and we were supposed to be OK with this $350 room? I had to call Expedia to get the hotel front desk number, call from my cell phone to COMPLAIN! They brought a tiny fan to place on a chair at the end of the bed.. WOW- what service! They finally changed our room and gave us $100 off- it should have been 1 free night as we were booked for 4 nights. That AC has not be working for awhile. Front desk mentioned they’d send an engineer up to look at it the next day but none ever came. First thing the maid said to us the next morning was “Are you changing rooms?” They already knew we’d be moving out before we even talked to the front desk in the morning!! Management could have given us a suite or even have said something up front and perhaps moved us to a sister hotel! Even spend money for larger fans.
