I stayed at Central Hotel Park from 30th November to 1st December and unfortunately had a very negative experience, mainly due to the behaviour of one of the security staff. I completely understand the hotel’s policy regarding the number of guests allowed in a room. However, when I explained that a friend would only be visiting for around 30 minutes (not staying overnight), the security guard became extremely rude and aggressive. Instead of calmly advising me or directing me to reception, he raised his voice at me in the lobby and spoke in a hostile way that was completely unprofessional. What shocked me most was that he threatened to cancel my booking with no refund simply because I asked a question. He then said he knew where I worked and would come to “disturb” me, and even referenced having a photocopy of my ID in a way that felt intimidating. As a guest, this made me feel unsafe and disrespected. Because of this, I didn’t even feel comfortable reporting other issues with my stay: • The room was extremely cold — the heater didn’t work properly. • There was loud construction noise early in the morning, making it difficult to rest. Normally I could overlook these things for a short stay, but the unprofessional behaviour from the security staff overshadowed everything. This team member is absolutely not doing the hotel any favours — he is damaging the hotel’s reputation and making guests feel uncomfortable. I was a solo traveler and the room was a bit small but fine. Newly updated. I don’t understand European washrooms and lack of door/partition/curtain. Would basically flood the washroom every shower. Otherwise good location, was just there to sleep so can’t comment on anything else.

The location is incredible! This hotel is near Hyde park but doesn't feel touristy and is surrounded by beautiful streets and buildings. The hotel itself is dated and feels a bit grungy. However, we had a renovated room and it was basic but clean. We did not spend much time in the room sine we were only in London for two nights. Given our short stay at the hotel, we were content with the room. However, if we were staying longer or were planning on being in the room more frequently, I would consider a different hotel. If you need a landing spot with a great location and the basic amenities, this hotel is perfect for you.

Given a room in the basement, no window. The corridors had a damp smell, the rooms were not suitable for anyone to use. No storage. They advertise beautiful new converted rooms, then dump you in the basement, absolutely outrageous. I will not be returning.

I need to emphasize and recommend to those staying at this hotel to ONLY book the 'Refurbished' suites. My fiancé and I originally booked an 'Original' double room, thinking we wouldn’t mind an outdated space. Unfortunately, we were placed in a basement room that was small, musty, and still had trash left in the bin from the previous guest. It was immediately clear that staying in that room would make it difficult to relax and enjoy our time in the city. We upgraded to a 'Refurbished' suite, and the difference was dramatic. The new room was clean, spacious, and completely odor-free, a total contrast to the first room. Our stay became enjoyable only after switching rooms, and the higher rating I’m giving this hotel is solely because of the quality of the refurbished suite. The hotel itself is in a great location, just a short walk from Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, making it easy to get around London. The staff were kind and helpful, and the luggage storage service was convenient for us after checkout.

Nice comfortable modern room just a few minutes away from Queensway and Bayswater tube stations and Hyde Park. Housekeeping was impeccable and hotel staff friendly. I live in the North East and visit London few months and will definitely be using the Centre Park Hotel as my new base. Great value for money.
