Clean, but highway is loud

The hotel was clean, staff was fairly friendly. But it is very close to a busy highway and so quite noisy. My first night, I had a room that was on the highway side. It was so loud, I asked to be moved for the second night. They accommodated me very kindly. While the next night was slightly quieter on the street side, it was unfortunately on the second floor close to where people can smoke outside. At one point, the smell of marijuana came into my room quite strongly through the vent, but turning off the heat reduced that noticeably and I didn’t have that happen again. Other than those things, the room was clean and nothing seemed worn out. Everything worked well. It is conveniently near fast food like Chick Fil A and Chipotle. So - maybe just bring ear plugs in case you’re in a room closer to the highway side and try not to get a room by the smoking area outside!

This is a bare bones hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no room service (unless you request it). Hallways and rooms were moderately clean. Definitely an older hotel with new wallpaper and paint. On the plus side: the bed was comfortable, staff were generally accommodating, and the area was quiet and convenient to shopping and playing fields for sports.

I have stayed here a fair number of times as it is close to family. This trip was not what I have found in the past. It was dirtier, the water smelled gross. In the sink it smelled like rotten eggs and the shower smelled heavily of chlorine. Overall the room didn’t feel as clean as before. The bed was still comfy and the price is more reasonable than other similar options. They now charge $5/ night parking. And if you happen to be close to the interstate , it can be noisy. I have not been close to the interstate in past stays.

The property itself was okay. The room looked a little gross like the carpet had stains and the shower was eh. The thing that really stood out to me was one of the receptionists. I think her name was Victoria. I hope it was. She was the best receptionist at any hotel I’ve ever been to. She was so kind and smiley and greeted everyone so sweetly anytime they passed by. She really went above and beyond. That girl needs a raise.

This hotel needs desperate need of updating. Rugs were stained old smell like mildew. Not worth the price.
