I have never been in a hotel that requires the guest to request room cleaning. We called for extra towels and received them 2 hours later. There was only one concierge employee checking in and redeeming parking tickets. We had to wait 45 minutes in line to have our ticket validated. I will no longer book at The Downtown Grand Hotel.

I love this hotel. I’ve stayed on the strip over 20 times and have no desire to go back. At the Grand, the casino is friendly, clean rooms and good food options. What else would you want?

We have stayed at this property numerous times over the past 4 years and every time the elevator in the garage is broken. My husband has a disability and requires a mobility scooter to get around, having to ride that down several levels in a parking garage is really a dangerous situation. Proximity to Fremont Experience without all the loud noise was a nice feature. Table limits were low and enjoyable. The bad experience was bathroom sink draining very slow and had black debris backing up. If housekeeping was actually cleaning the sink then they should have reported the issue for repair. Apparently, it was not draining when I got the room, which means did housekeeping clean the bathroom correctly?

The staff is very friendly they took the time to greet us on several occasions during our stay. Overall a really nice place to stay ! Will say there again.

I paid for a Grand Suite, which in the hotel photos was a newly renovated room with seperate living room and bedroom. This was not at all what I received. It was a basic room that was old and dirty. I even called to ask if i was checked into the correct room and was told this was the room booked, and the photos on Expedia were not the correct ones. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again.
