Relaxing Casita With Hot Tub Near The Broadmoor

Our beautiful and cozy Casa Hovel, located a hop away from the Ivywild eateries, a skip from the Broadmoor and a jump from downtown, is the ultimate place to stay for your next trip to Colorado Springs. This home is unlike any other you have experienced. Built in order to sustain efficient living, Casa Hovel has a unique, southwestern feel. The adobe exterior, colorful tiles, kiva fireplace and ceiling vigas will leave you feeling comforted and relaxed for your entire stay. While the home does include two bedrooms and one and a half baths, each bedroom is located in a separate building, accommodating the privacy of our guests.
The main "casa" has a front courtyard decorated with red adirondack chairs, water fountain and is scattered with vibrant wild flowers. Each house has a covered patio for early morning coffees, long talks, games and summer night cocktails. But don't worry, for those cold winter days, there are warm robes and a hot tub to warm up cold toes and each house is equipped with a quaint fireplace. For those more athletically inclined, the home has a spacious yard and is right down the road from Cheyenne Mountain Canyon where tourists and townies alike go to hike, bike and sightsee. Not to mention the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Tinseltown movie theater and Broadmoor bowling alley are all close by if you are traveling with children. The home has soft natural lighting, brand new stainless steel appliances and a washer and dryer. The "casa" has a new walk-in shower and the "casita" has a powder room. All in all, your visit to Colorado Springs would not be complete without a stay at Casa Hovel.

This was a great little Casita. It was perfect for our family of 3 with a Teen son. He loved having his own space, and it worked out well for us. This wouldn’t be all that good for a bigger family, but we loved it. The street was a little busy, but the walks in the neighborhood up the hill were great, with huge bucks and doe’s every day, I love the springs. Would definitely stay again. If I get the chance. All felt right @ home.

We stayed in Colorado Springs for 2 nights as we were wanting to see as much of Colorado as we could during our week stay. That being said we would have loved to stay longer in the casita. Little Oasis in Colorado Springs

This really is a gem! Somehow it’s evening more charming in person- might just be the prettiest short term rental I’ve ever stayed at, all the details made it feel upscale yet homey. The beds were comfy, the backyard and hot tub was perfection, and access to a washer/dryer was a plus. And the host was very kind and communicativeFor the sake of honesty, a couple cons- the lack of AC was notable during the afternoon, but not too bad. During our stay, the high was around 80- windows open and fans on at night made it perfectly pleasant, but it was a bit warm during the day. And then the home is at the cross section of two residential roads- not noticeable at all from inside, but if using the backyard/hot tub, definitely there is road noise.However knowing those things, I would still absolutely stay here again (and hope to be able to do so!). Highly recommend

Amazing and unique property, absolutely beautiful.

We stayed three nights, and slept in both the main casa (once) and the very unique and beautiful single bedroom casa adjacent and across the private fenced in yard. Our two little dogs absolutely had a blast roaming around the yard and beautiful gardens (they loved it!) it was such an easy stay and the host was very thorough and thoughtful, ensuring everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property for anyone, but it was perfect for just my wife and I and our two small dogs. This property has so much personality and beauty it's remarkable. The little touches such as the lightning, art and the overall feel of the house and property were very authentic and romantic. We had an amazing time, and it is located in a beautiful part of the city. Thanks so much for this much needed getaway!
