This is the second time we have stayed at the Cliff House. It is a lovely property with valet parking in a very busy area. It is conveniently located to downtown, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Heated towels and heated commode seats were such a surprise and nice touch! We arrived on June 17 and stayed in the Charles Dickens Suite! We were celebrating my 76 the birthday. My sister and her husband shared the room and I got the alcove with the twin bed! On June 30, we came back and stayed for the 52nd anniversary of my sister and her husband! We stayed in the very same suite! The breakfast vouchers was such a wonderful treat! We will be coming back to Colorado next summer and I fly into Colorado Springs from Texas! It is our hope to stay with you again! We loved Manitou Springs and the Cliff House! We loved it! We had one small glitch that our keys would NOT work. Have going back to the desk two more times, a kind young man came with a “real key” that we had to use. Then, a small mix up with our luggage after we valeted. After two hours, we finally got our luggage and were able to make our 5:30 dinner reservations. It would have been nice to have had our parking compensated for the inconvenience. But, this will not stop us for coming again next year! It bespeaks volumes for your establishment for us to stay twice in 17 days! We all agreed that we wanted to go back to the Cliff House!

Lovely stay!

This is a lovely old property. We enjoyed drinks and a bite on the veranda at dusk, thoroughly appreciating the beautiful mountains/pikes peak. Valet parking is very reasonable and we were able to walk to all of the shops and attractions on the main street in town, which was very convenient.

Charming old-school hotel in a great location

I've been to the Manitou Springs many, many times over the years but never stayed in town. Wanting to try something different, I chose The Cliff House and reserved a Deluxe King Suite (#201). As you can see from the pics, it's a very historic hotel with lots of old-school charm that you don't get at the typical Marriott or Hilton. Overall, the stay was great and the property was well maintained. However the bathroom, particularly the shower, was a little dated but that may be expected at a property like this. The hotel bar was also a little underwhelming. If you go, sit outside on the patio! The location of the property makes it excellent for exploring almost all the Manitou has to offer. That said, there aren't a ton of amenities at the property. The concierge was also impossible to engage before the stay (I called 4-5 times, leaving messages with whomever answered and asking them for assistance but to no use). That said, Matt (valet) and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful once I arrived.
