    What to Do and Where

If you find yourself in eastern Colorado roaming the vast plains, you’ll want to wander through Picketwire Canyon, located in Comanche National Grassland. Walk in the footprints of dinosaurs that lived 150 million years ago—over 1,300 preserved tracks have been discovered in the rocks so far, and they are accessible by hiking, biking, or horseback riding. After playing Dr. Alan Grant for the day, head west for skiing in Colorado’s most famous eye-candy, the Rockies. Ski resorts in Colorado are around every corner, from Breckenridge to Aspen, so book a stay at the one that suits you best and hit the slopes. Just remember to keep those tips up!

    "Love the Hyatt!"
Our stay, although just overnight, was wonderful! From the time we pulled up and the valet, Boris, took our car, to the front desk check-in the staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hotel was busy, but I never felt like they were too busy to accommodate me and my needs.

    The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs

    "Nice Room - Great Breakfast"
We stayed at the Academy Hotel for three nights. The Hotel was clean and staff very attentive, The free breakfast is a full breakfast buffet, complete with an omelet chef. The hotel is an easy to get to, located directly off I-25, but far enough off the interstate to limit highway noise. There are many things to see and do under an hour's drive from the hotel. Dining options \are unlimited. The only complaint I could list would be the AC/Heating unit which was loud even on a low fan setting. We had to unplugged the unit to resolve this problem.

Great location- walk to lift, rental shop, main street - everything extremely close- dont need to drive. Employees very nice- especially Charlie the master map maker. Studio room very nice which included kitchen- only complaint was a mattress that sagged in the middle. Would highly recommend.
