Horrible! The $14/night parking fee is ridiculous and unadvertised. No working gym as they advertised. Rock hard pillows and shower heads that are 5 feet high.

I will never stay here again. I feel that the hotel is very dishonest about their hotel policies and amenities. Upon check in they charged me an additional $14 for a parking fee! Really? A parking fee in Grand Junction? They also list a gym as an amenity. The gym has a broken bike and broken stair stepper and some dumbbells. I literally picked this hotel out because of the price and the gym as we were on a road trip and I have to exercise for medical reasons while traveling. They should not advertise a gym if they do not have an actual working gym. Other complaints are more minor like the hardest pillows I have ever slept on and a shower head that is literally 5 feet high so no one could wash hair because we were all too tall. This hotel needs to use some transparency about how much they are actually going to charge their customers and what their amenities actually look like!

We don’t like being charged a parking fee. Include it in the cost of the room. The cost seemed ok in comparison to other hotels but because of the parking fee it was more expensive.

I have stayed here over the years and even though there are newer (more expensive) hotels in Grand Junction I still choose to stay here. Yes, it's showing its age. Yes, the parking fee is an unwelcoming fee. But, the price was right even with the parking fee because I am a budget-conscious traveler. The room was clean, towels are decent, bed comfortable, and check-in/out easy. This visit I got upgraded to a junior suite, which had a great view (mainly of the big, expensive hotel across the way, but I still could see the beautiful sunset), with a very comfortable king-size bed and spacious bathroom. I also got a coupon for a complimentary drink that made up for the parking fee in my mind. Bailey's bar where I had dinner (with my free glass of wine) has a happy hour food menu with $10 choices and that worked for me instead of driving to one of the many fast food joints. All in all, this is fine for a 1 or 2 night stay, especially if you don't want to "break the bank" for that stay.

Great place except for parking charges.
Always live staying at Grand Vista Hotel. We come for the hiking at CO National Monument. Rooms are large and comfortable and staff helpful and friendly. My only issue is that they charge 14.00 for parking when they have a large parking lot. Most likely because of the airport. We don’t use it as an airport hotel. They just started this since Covid . It was not listed in my reservation so I brought it to their attention and they did not charge me the 28.00. All the other places in the area do not charge for parking unless you are leaving it while flying someplace. They should either charge a little more for the rooms which were very reasonable or eliminate the parking charges. In all my travels I have never been charged for parking at a hotel that is not in a major metropolitan area. This is not in downtown Grand Junction. It is out at the outskirts of the city. I was not the only customer who was dissatisfied with the parking charge. other than that, it’s a great place to stay.
