"In summary, As others suggested, I would hold out for a hotel room in Colorado springs if you can. We stayed here on our way to the Great sand dunes. We had a suite with two queens and sleeper sofa. The room was spacious, but the couch had stains all over it and didn't have any pillows. We requested pillows for the couch for our kids to sleep on and they told us COVID rules don't allow them to give us pillows? The pool was nice enough although the hot tub was closed. The breakfast was sub par and the staff was not overly friendly. The a/c in our room was also subpar and could not keep the room cold.
BEWARE, the hotel is in a rough part of town. We had 4 of our kids bikes locked on a bike rack on our vehicle. All the bikes were stolen overnight and the rack was cut. The policeman that came to file the report basically laughed at us because this is typical for Pueblo. I had no idea. There are no security cameras, no signs advising you of taking your items, and no one at the hotel gave any indication of the surrounding area. My advice, as others have suggested, would be to look elsewhere. This hotel did not live up to our standards of a Springhill suites at over $200 a night. "
