"Our stay was in September. We highly recommend this hotel! We loved walking the peaceful, beautiful grounds, with lovely flower beds, a rose garden, wildlife, and several trails. We stayed in the lodge, and our room was spacious and very clean. The castle is an easy walk away, and the buffet breakfast on its spectacular patio was delicious—one of the best meals of our entire Colorado road trip! Be sure to take a few minutes to explore the first floor and learn about the castle’s unique history. The staff and docents were warm and welcoming especially, Theresa and Byron, who shared fascinating stories about the property. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel has been revamped since I was their last. It is in very good shape and is one of the best hotels in Colorado Springs. We found that the food and the overall condition of the property was excellent. The only downside to this hotel is that it is popular. On the weekend that we were there there were two very large weddings and they overwhelmed the staff in the restaurant. Nonetheless, we got through it well and very much enjoyed our stay.."

"When I was securing the motel I sent a message to the hotel that I wanted an handicapped accessible room. They must have never read their message, there were no changes. The room was nice but basics like showering was not easy."
