The room was dingy. Old towels with raveling edges. No place to hang wet towels to dry, and only 1 towel per Person. Bed linens were old and slid off the brd during the night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, but we well not be staying there again.

The staff was absolutely amazing! The Falcon restaurant inside was delicious a d convenient. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Clean rooms. A/C nice and cold! The free breakfast was so good they had a omelet chef 👨‍🍳 , waffles, french toast, biscuit and gravy, sausage links, eggs, potatoes and more along with coffee and juice.

Breakfast was very nice; the staff was helpful and friendly. The front desk was great and very informative. The only con - I paid for a mountain view room, which I received, but the window view had homeless people and tents right outside in the back of the building in the grassy area. The upgrade was not worth the view no matter of the mountains.

I travel to Colorado Springs every year. this is my 3rd year staying at the Academy hotel. It is conveniently located, friendly staff, nice pool, great breakfast and comfortable rooms. Lots of restaurant options close by. Only issue was over the course of a week I killed 3 bugs in my room.
