"No view in room "
Nice property, but for a very high per night room charge, our view was of a stone wall 10 foot away. Dumb architecture.

"Little sleeper"
This hotel is tucked away in a corner but a wonderful lplace to stay. Parking below and gondola across the street, location was perfect. I was extremely well taken care of. Having never been to Telluride before, I sure lucked out in picking this little gem.

"Awesome hotel; awesome town."
This was our second year in a row staying at the New Sheridan Hotel in January in Telluride. This is a really nice, historic hotel. The rooms are beautifully renovated, with high ceilings and all the amenities you would want. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel has a great restaurant, a great wild west bar, free ski storage lockers, and two awesome roof top hot tubs (great for star gazing and watching the snow cats on the mountain). The hotel is also within 2 blocks of the lifts, and there is fun shopping and great restaurants, coffee chops, bars, and book stores all within a block or two. We will be back next year!

"Nice hotel especially since it was raining!"
Nice hotel, comfy rooms, nice and clean. It rained the days we were there so we spent a bit more time in the room than planned which made it even better that the room was nice. We would stay here again.

"Charming!"
The hotel was very charming and welcoming. Off the beaten path, it was a 5-10 minute walk to town past lovely restored historic homes. Walk along the nearby river trail to enjoy beautiful Telluride even more. It is a bit of a hike if you are across town in a thunderstorm, so bring a rain jacket or umbrella! There was some construction going on behind us, so our view from the room was not great, though the mountains were right behind us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Hotel Telluride.

"Great lodge, nice location, but terrible bed"
Overall the lodge was great. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is terrific. Only complaint was the mattress, it was horrible. Very hard and a large dip.

Dreaming of a vacation to Telluride Ski Area? With its famous ski trails, golf course, and some of the best hiking, biking, and river rafting around, Telluride, Colorado is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Located at 8,750 feet of elevation in a box canyon in the San Juan Mountains, Telluride started out as a silver mining town and was named for the mineral gold telluride (despite the fact that it was never actually mined there). Due to its rich history, the town was designated as a National Historic Landmark District. Not sure where to stay? Travelocity is your key to all the best hotels in Telluride.

The Telluride Historical Museum provides a tantalizing glimpse into various eras of the region's past, or you can check out a show at the Sheridan Opera House, which started out as a vaudeville theater for miners working on-site and is now a cozy venue for performing arts of all kinds.
