I’m incredibly disappointed with my stay at 3 Peaks Lodge on June 28. We arrived at 5:45 PM for check-in before a 7 PM event. Check-in starts at 4 PM, but when we walked into the lobby, it was chaos. One group was yelling about how dirty their room was before storming out. Another couple said they had been waiting over an hour to check in because their room still wasn’t ready. The only staff member, Chris, was clearly overwhelmed and said there was just one housekeeper for the entire property. He was cleaning rooms himself. When it was finally our turn, he told us our room wasn’t ready either and asked us to come back later. We told him we didn’t have time—we needed to shower and change. He promised to have it done in 15 minutes. After nearly 40 minutes, we checked on the room. He said he would vacuum while we were gone. We were shocked! unacceptable: the floor was absolutely filthy, the counters were sticky with sauces and crumbs, the mirror was splattered, the sink had residue, the bathroom had a puddle, and the curtain rod was bent. Chris admitted construction workers had stayed there. Sheets and towels seemed clean, so at that point, we had no other choice but to stay. The next morning, I spoke to another staff member, showed her video, and explained the whole story. She was appalled, said “I’ve seen enough,” and promised to forward everything to the manager. I'm still waiting to hear back, but I absolutely expect a refund or some form of compensation for this experience.
