The overall stay was good. Great scenery, convenient parking, as well as cleanliness. However there were some major downfalls. Our villa located on the 1st floor, had someone above us possibly 5 or 6 people including kids in one small room. The first night was ok. The second thru last night were horrible. Getting woken up at 3am by stomping and loud thumps and bangs from upstairs neighbors. Followed by constant kids running around and screaming. Called the front desk on the second night around 7:30pm to inform them of the matter we were told to call back after 10 if the matter ensues. Needless to say we did that and no one answered the phone. So yet another restless night. Never received a return call or any help whatsoever. Now let’s talk about the beds, they are not as comfortable as the villa looks. Beds felt springs in my back and not cushioned at all. The temperature is hard to regulate in the room it’s either too hot or cold. Overall besides the view I will never stay here again. If I could get a refund I would.

The check in person was very professional and most helpful as we had a booking error that she helped us correct. The room was a good size with everything you could want; full sized fridge and stove and dishwasher with all supporting cutlery and pots and pans. The additional dining area was also a plus. The amenities were great, work out area, bar, pool table, and several other activities, heated outdoor saunas, indoor pool and pretty much anything you could ask for. Also had shuttle service to downtown Breck available.

The Ranahan is beautiful. Clean rooms, quiet, we enjoyed the very large horseshoe shaped hot tub. The fireplace in the bedroom was a nice touch, as was the balcony. Great value since we were there during mud season and before ski season. The location is a little further from Main Street, but just a short drive. Friendly staff. Overall, a great experience.
