It is always an amazing place with the best cocktail lounge to be found. We love the gentle friendliness of the staff and the many small touches in the room. We come here every year just to spend a nice evening and a beautiful place.

The Flatirons provide a beautiful backdrop to the hotel and spa. The St. Julien is also just a block off downtown’s walkable and busy Pearl Street. We had great service in Jill’s Restaurant but terrible service in T-Zero — the lobby bar. We were told we could go back to Jill’s if we wanted better service — very odd — we’re ok giving bad service — just pick a different place. Great rooms, pool, and spa. Have been coming to the St. Julien for a long time. But maybe we’ll just skip T-Zero for drinks in the future.

Everyone on the staff were great. The facilities are also wonderful. We went to the spa one day, had great massages. The spa area is laid out well and helps you feel super relaxed. The doormen were the most attentive, the room service was the least. We called the first morning we were there and were discouraged from getting room service over eating in the hotel restaurant after being told by the room service worker there were "10 orders ahead of us." We also called the last night for late lunch/dinner and no one answered several times when we called. We told the front desk of this after we left and they were gracious in removing 1 day of valet from our bill. There were apparently many known issues about room service.

dreadful, dreadful, dreadful

Beautiful property -- worse than dreadful customer service. In no way, shape, or form worth the extraordinary nightly rate. Stay anywhere else in Boulder. Trust me, a Holiday Inn Express would be a better experience.

Looove the shower and tub!

Pros: Close restaurants
This hotel came highly recommended to me by my Boulder-based client. The location, rooms and staff were all wonderful. Be sure to take advantage of the wonderful stone shower and huge, comfortable bathtub!

Amazing getaway!

Pros: Close restaurants
We arrived at the St. Julian after a long day of travel. I had called ahead for a bottle of wine and "snack" to be waiting in our room. We were thrilled with the selection of wine, and a platter of cheese, fruit and nuts that was not only tasty but beautiful to look at. The concierge set us up for dinner at one of Boulder's best restaurants, with little delay! They even shuttled us there and back. We stayed an extra night because they had our room available and we were having such a good stay we did not want to leave. The pool and spa area are clean and beautiful.

Class in Boulder

This is our favorite hotel. We travel the world and spend at least 4 weekends a year at the St Julien (We live in Denver - 1 hour away). The pool/spa are very well appointed with stone work. The treatments at the spa are well done. My wife asks to be pampered here for her birthday, Xmas, Anniversary etc. The meals on site are quite nice and unexpectedly affordable. This truly is the classy hotel in Boulder. At times the lobby is turned into a live music destination. Great music and fun but can be difficult to manage your luggage and find the front desk. They need dressing rooms at the pool area. If you live nearby ask for the locals discount on the room....
