The check in was a disaster. Staff incompetent. It took 5 people 28 minutes to get checked in to my room. Then I had to return every day to get a new room key because it wasn’t working. Only one young man apologized for the inconvenience. The rest of the front desk staff was awful. Perhaps they should be forced to go through the process as a patron. Worst hotel staff I’ve experienced in over two years.

We found a bed bug in our room on Friday morning and pointed it out to the staff. We checked out immediately and expect to be refunded for at least the night (Friday the 9th) that we did not stay.

The room was excellent, modern furniture and great style. 5 stars except for the valet parking. It wasn’t the attendants but I needed access multiple times due to various appointments in town. It was a little bit of a pain, but it worked out. Negative- the amount of extremely loud motorcycles and cars late at night. A Colorado Springs issue.

The Physical plant of the hotel was nice. The information on the hotel said there was on-site parking. They did not mention that it was limited and cost $32 a day. Finding parking in the area was terrible. Hotel staff were not at all accommodating. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.

Parking staff was quite unfriendly when I unknowingly parked in a valet spot. When I got out of my vehicle he yelled, "Give me your keys!" I said, "what?" "Give me your keys!! This is valet parking!" I walked over and handed him my keys and he didn't say another word. Pretty unprofessional in my opinion. Check in staff was friendly, but the elevator was broken from about 10pm-5am. Not a big deal. I wouldn't stay there again, based on my experience.

TV didn't work. That's okay, needed to go to sleep anyway. No hot water when we woke up. Didn't try it the night before. Hospital plans changed and wanted to check out a day earlier. When I went to the front desk to check out, I told the lady about the 2 issues, response..."Did you let us know? You didn't give us a chance to fix it.". Then couldn't print me a receipt because I was checking out a day early. No refund either because I didn't cancel within timeframe policy. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The hotel was in a very very good spot!! Would stay here again. It is very clean. The staff is very nice and helpful! They have valet parking and it’s $32. Free breakfast. In the middle of downtown, can walk to restaurants lots of options! My room had a pullout bed on the couch. It was comfy! Comes with sheets and extra pillow. If you don’t want valet there’s a parking garage across the street $1 per hour I think. & parking spots outside $8 an hour.

We stayed three nights. The Hyatt Place is a very nice hotel, clean, up-to-date. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom & shower. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
