To begin with the water situation within the room was poor unable to get consistent hot water scalded back to freezing back to scalding not consistent at all. Step down out of tub unsafe, tub bottom and floor were at different levels. Pool deck was not managed well no towels frequently dirty deck cushions are old and dirty.

Great family staycation

My family loved the space and the access to the Riverwalk. The bathroom was a bit dated and there was peeling in the bath tub which kind of sucked because we have a 9 month old and chose not to give him a bath with all the peeling.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Amber restaurant was delicious for breakfast. Great location on the Riverwalk. Room was clean, cozy wirh beautiful furnishings.

Great stay at Hotel Contessa! Enjoyed the drinks at the bar. Walking distance to restaurants on the river walk. Only negative was having to pay $53 for the valet, but there was a lot near by as well for parking, the valet was convenient.

Clearly a mismanagement problem here.

It's clear that management is letting this hotel get run down. There was mildew on the shower tiles. The tub has been patched several times. Housekeeping left tissue box with one tissue left and no spare. The heat was non existent in the lobby and restaurant areas. I paid WAY too much for this stay!!!

Nice hotel. Area is not full of businesses unless you walk a few blocks away. The staff was very helpful. Any problems I had, they fixed it quickly.
