The room.was very damp and smelly, we ask for a refund but the hotel refused to accommodate us we only stayed for a few hours because on top of the smell the room is very outdated the forniture is old and stained as well as the carpet, it gave me an uneasy felling to lay on the Bed not sanitary at all!!!

Overall decent hotel and was clean. Coffee shop downstairs is definitely a must have. The bar was good but if trying to order food late 10/11ish was already done serving even though it says until midnight. The noise was due to construction going on that started each morning at 6am.

Rooms are old and outdated. Could not get consistent temperature control with shower, would be very hot then ice cold, outlets weren’t working, furniture was old and carpet didn’t look clean. Great location and staff was very friendly and helpful! But for price not up to standards.

Great historic hotel

The location and history of the hotel are great. Due to construction around the Alamo, construction noise starts at 7:00 AM during weekdays, not the hotel's fault. The bistro staff are great. The valets doing the parking and vehicle retrieval were great. However, we went down to the bar after dinner and were actively ignored for 15 minutes, so we left. That was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. For what we were paying, that should NOT happen!

We had a great stay in San Antonio. As first-timers, we did not know what to expect. The Crockett is conveniently located to everything and is very walkable. It is a little outdated but clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were kind and accommodating. Our only issue was with the front desk clerk Eduardo. He had a sour disposition every time we interacted with him. He was short and generally unpleasant.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is great. You are a stones throw away from the Alamo and easy access to the riverwalk. The hotel is an older building so there are some quirks but a fun place to stay. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and they had coffee and tea. Parking was either valet parking at just under $50/day or finding your own parking at the lot nearby which was a bit of a surprise with the amount of the extra cost.

It was nice/ok.

Missed the charm of staying in "old" San Antonio. The modernization felt like I was staying in tiny room at the Red Roof Inn. Nothing wrong w/that, but I chose it expecting unique experience. It was clean, folks were nice, and great location.
