Welcome to The Budding Bungalow, our 2BR/2BA, waterfront bungalow on Lake Hartwell with a private, deep-water covered boat-dock. We have lovingly updated the entire space inside and outside including a brand-new kitchen, floors, windows and outdoor shower. You can even check out of renovation process on IG @Thebuddingbungalow

When we first purchased the bungalow, it was a parched and thorny sight in need of tender care. With loving hands, we've nurtured it from its withered state into a vibrant bloom, each petal unfolding to reveal its hidden beauty. Thus, we've affectionately named it "The Budding Bungalow," a testament to its transformation. Now, we're thrilled to share our journey of growth and renewal with you as we invite you to experience the blossoming charm of our cherished "fixer-upper".

Inside:
The house is a perfect size for one couple or a family get-away. It is a 2-story bungalow with the bedrooms on the terrace level. It comfortably sleeps 2 adults and up to 4 children. The main level features a lake view room where you can comfortably soak in the lake views or play a game. Cooking is easy in our brand-new kitchen with quartz countertops and open shelving system. After dinner, curl up and watch a movie on our Roku TV in the family room at night (Netflix provided).

Outside:
It’s only a short walk on our easy walking path to the deep water covered boat dock (20 feet at full pool) which is great for swimming, fishing, floating, or docking your boat for the duration of your stay. The cove is quiet with sweet neighbors and is also home to our resident Blue Herron who guards the cove. The dock has Adirondack chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. When you are finished with your day on the water, enjoy our enclosed outdoor shower featuring a bench seat, hot and cold water as well as 2 different shower heads.
Features- Deck with propane grill and outdoor seating, enclosed outdoor shower, covered boat dock, cement driveway, 4 kayaks (2 adult, 2 children’s), 2 inner tube floats, life jackets. Enjoy the fire pit on chilly nights!
*Electrical hookup on the dock: we provide a 200ft extension cord (12/3 extension cord, 15Amp, 125V, 1875Watts rated) to run from your boat up to the back of the house where we have an outdoor electrical outlet if you need to charge your boat battery.

We currently have a 2 week maximum stay. Please send us a message if you are interested in staying longer.
Rental includes entire house, yard, dock, easement across the street
Use shared easement across the street for access and to store your boat trailer on the grass near the woods. Sufficient parking on concrete driveway for 2 cars.
