Pools and lazy river were well maintained. My only complaints are the long wait for elevators and shower didn't drain good.

The room was decent and clean. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff members. The following morning the maid service was also very friendly. I recommend this hotel only for those reasons. The pool / hotel ratio is so far off even now in April it is overly crowded. I took the kids to the outdoor pool just to have to take them to the overly populated ( shoulder to shoulder) indoor pool due to someone smoking pot on the balcony. I was not the only person who noticed this as it was so strong. Once we were in the indoor pool a “partying” group hooks their phone to a medium size speaker box jamming to music loud enough to about drowned out all the kids trying to play in the stuffed in pool. I truly believe a little more security and more pool space would make a huge difference in this location. Overall, happy to have a short beach weekend but, sadly will not return to this hotel.

Jacuzzi was cold all three days. They came to “fix” it and it would get warm for maybe and hr then it was broke again. Elevators were loud and squeaky and clearly needed maintenance. Hotel staff was very nice and attentive to my needs. Elliot is awesome. Elliot went above and beyond to satisfy me. I didn’t receive a room with a living area as I was under the impression I was getting and he politely took care of this and I was able to get a new room with full kitchen and dining area within seconds. I was very pleased because most hotels that I book through Travelocity will make me contact Travelocity directly instead of the hotel doing the work

staff was nice but weren't very personable, went to front desk several times and it was like being new to them every time (same person), also the pool wasn't cleaned the entire time we were there, all the other surrounding pools were sparkling clean, broken coffee pot with jagged edges, rooms showing signs of age and needing repainted, bugs crawling around in bathroom (killed and squashed several), staff disregarded do not disturb on doors several times and tried to enter room on multiple occasions, wouldn't recommend hotel

We only had one full day to spend at the hotel. We arrived after midnight Friday and checked in. We had to carry all our stuff from the parking deck up a few stairs to our room. Nobody told us that there would be many bulldozers working all night on the beach right in front of our hotel all night long with all the beeping and pushing sand and water that was spewing out of a huge pipeline which stretched the entire length of beach in our view. Our oceanfront view was ruined. Along with that noise we discovered that it was Bike week so there went what was left of the peace and quiet we had been looking forward to so much! The suite was old but the furnishings were nice enough. They need to use some fabric softener in their laundry (scratchy towels). The shower curtain was frayed at the bottom. The trim paint ran down onto bathroom floor & walls needed some TLC. We won’t be staying there again. I think Travelocity should have told us about the beach renourishment going on there.

A, Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us.You are correct, Myrtle Beach is undergoing a renourishment program. This happens every 10 years, Myrtle Beach's last renourishment took place in 2008. The general time frame for this program is Sept. 12th - Nov. 11th. This is completely out of our control and I'm sorry that this put a dampener on your stay, but in the long run this will make our beaches more enjoyable for everyone in the future. As for the issues you experienced with the room (shower curtain etc), please let our front desk know so our maintenance team can handle them as soon as possible.

Customer service needs to be improved

Close to beach, central location. Dirty, ripped furniture, rusty refrigerator, hard to unlock door, toilet needed to be fixed, dirty public ice machine, rude maid. Asked for our room to be cleaned 4 times in 1 day.
