The rooms were very clean. The staff amazing! I was a little disappointed with breakfast, and there is some construction going on in the hotel. But overall great stay. I would definitely stay again!

“Meh” is being generous! it’s bearable if you take meds to put yourself to sleep. Everything looks very worn: bed, towels, the super thin curtain they use as blankets. Just pay a little extra for an average accommodation if you can swing it!

I like Hilton. Had never stayed at a Tru. The room air conditioner was very loud. Constantly. There were other loud mechanical fan type sounds as well. Made sleep difficult. The front desk person was ok but instead of keeping the lobby area tidy (clean the coffee area and pick up litter) he read a book. Another office person sat in a corner work area, appearing to rest behind her computer. The construction at this hotel was a surprise and a bit inconvenient but didn’t disturb our sleep.Nothing outrageous, just not up to my previous Hilton experiences. I will stick with the Home 2 Suites line. (Bigger rooms and just nicer.)

Bed was ok. Staff was unresponsive-had to call front desk 3 times to get an extra pillow and finally had to go down and get it as no one was available to bring to room. Air conditioner was extremely loud and creaked. Construction currently on hotel. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Do not recommend. States coffee and tea 24 / 7 but it is cold coffee and cold water 19 hours of the day and evening. Rooms very overrated and much smaller than photos. No daily paper as described but was listed as an amenity. Soap and shampoo questionable. Breakfast below average and few choices. Not Hilton quality at all. Stayed at Hilton home suites in West Ashley two weeks prior and it was great. Tru was so miserable and uncomfortable, we left our second day early and lost money for the night.. No bag storage in room; 3 hangers; plastic tables; unsecured desk; Never had such a bad experience and we have traveled many places and countries with great stays.

The property was easy to locate, in a safe area, clean, and check-in was seamless. The only issue I had was that I chose this property because laundry facilities were listed as an amenity, which is necessary for us, having a son in college. However, when we arrived we were told their were no available washer and dryers, so we ended up spending 3 hours at a laundromat.
