We were put in a room right next to the 24/7 gym and the sound of people dropping weight was extremely loud. We asked for down-free pillows due to allergies and we’re told that they were even though labeled as down. They then told us there were no other pillows. I had to get a supervisor involved to get down free pillows. We were only there for a short stay to enjoy the beach and the amenities. Upon checking in we found out there were no beach chairs available. We decided to go to the beach anyway and there were no towels available for the beach or at the pool. We decided to eat pizza on property at the Italian restaurant and the Host told us we would have to order to go because the restaurant would be closing soon (45 minutes before closing). We were “allowed” to sit at a table when I assured them we would order and eat quickly. When our pizza was served it was completely undercooked and impossible to eat without a spoon. The entire stay was pretty unpleasant and it was such a waste of time and money. It was very disappointing.

The staff was extremely pleasant and friendly and our room was spacious and clean. Balcony awesome. A little age can be seen on the hotel but it was really lovely. The Coastal Provisions is pricey and we had to wait 15 mins for a hostess to seat us (at 5 pm when no other diners present). That was the downside. Two other restaurants were closed on the days (BBQ and Salty Dog) we were there and the beach bar and rest closed at 3 pm. Will probably eat off site if we return. However, we did enjoy the Boardwalk inn and would recommend it and its staff.
