Valet staff was pleasant and friendly, but turning in the car was difficult and communication to retrieve our vehicle was poor. We were also not prepared to have to deal with a third party valet staff upon arrival (it was mentioned on the hotel information page at all). Room was adequate, but for the price we expected certain amenities that were not provided; for example: the contents of the shampoo and conditioner bottles were mixed so we couldn’t use them, there wasn’t a complementary makeup wipe remover, and the body wash was watered down so was unusable. Finally, prices in the grab and go shop were not clearly posted or communicated so we weren’t sure what we were being charged when purchasing things from it.

1 The bed size booked was unavailable. 2.The room temperature would not go above 67 degrees. The heat setting on the thermostat did not activate the heat. We actually went outside to get warm on an unseasonably cold weekend. The desk stated they were reporting issue to maintenance who never showed up. We left the next morning.

We were disappointed in our stay at the Hyatt. Our Tv could not connect to the internet for streaming, even after having maintenance look at it. As a matter of fact the screen quality was worse when he left. The shower head was barely adequate.The sink drain was clogged. We were surprised bathrobes were not provided. The room service menu was just ok. Having a separate valet/parking service was convoluted. However the valet staff upon arriving very pleasant. After staying at an Omni hotel in Richmond at this price point we were quite surprised at the discrepancy ; room pricing $250.plus $150 dog charge plus $45parking fee, not to mention taxes and fees. Sorry Hyatt, never again.
