The resort is immaculate. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is good. The beach is beautiful. Best of all, my daughter who’s in a wheelchair was able to get everywhere and was so well cared for by the staff!! We will be back!!

We loved our room it was always clean and fresh towels and nicely kept. The food at all the restaurants and Taino buffet were excellent. The variety of food and service at the buffet was excellent. However I was distressed that the restrooms next to the family pool ran out of soap 3 days ago and when we asked the staff they said they ran out and didn’t have more. I checked each day. That means the staff using those bathrooms and serving food at the food court couldn’t wash their hands properly. That’s not good!!! Overall our vacation at your Riu Palace Bavaro was wonderful. Thank you

Estuvimos 3dias y la pasamos bien,lo único que es un poco incomodo porque los edificios familiares estaban un poco alejados de los restaurantes y los edificios de habitaciones no tienen elevador excepto la parte del elite club

Las instalaciones del hotel son preciosas, es lo único rescatable del lugar. El personal es supremamente desatento y poco profesionales, sino ofreces de $3-$5 ANTES de que te atiendas no tendrás buena atención. La comida es malísima. Fueron muchas malas experiencias con el personal, al punto que se sentía una falta de respeto. Desde el personal interno del hotel, hasta el equipo encargado del traslado. He visitado esta cadena de hotel en distintas partes del mundo y por eso lo escogí, esperando tener la misma excelente experiencia que he tenido en las demás, pero fue todo lo contrario, el personal de este lugar daña la imagen de la cadena. Sin contar que el último día de nuestra estancia el hotel se quedó sin agua por par de horas.

The staff was excellent, the hotel is very big comfortable and beautiful. Very good variety of restaurant like steak house, asian, american, italian, the mexican restaurant could be better. Also has a really good buffet. Lots of spots for fun like water park, pool bars, teather with live music, coffe shops and ice cream bars. Very good activities for adults and childrens.

Cons: Service is extremely poor, food is sub par at best, sometimes uneatable. Casino is an absolute scam (Beware, ATM dispenses money in peso, casino only accepts USD, they (of course) charge you for both transactions). “Free”transportation is unreliable and confusing. Room service showed up only half the time we ordered it and only when we called the desk to ask where it was. Also, be ready to share your room with 6200 ants and spiders, they reside in ur room. Pro: Property is gorgeous. I would give 5 stars alone for that beach view and how well the grounds were kept. Swim up room was magical. Elite Club was the only way to go. I paid way too much for a property that doesn’t care. They should let the grounds operations manage the entire facility, kudos to the operators manager. I feel like I’m owed a refund of some sorts.
