"The room was clean and well serviced when we arrived. We would not recommend this room to elderly guests, since there is safety rail or hold-on in case one slips in the walk-in shower. The breakfast offered was in my opinion substandard. Orange juice, one off the standard breakfast staples was not available. There were waffle makers, but no fruit to put on the waffle, just butter and jelly. The hot offering was scrambled eggs and sausage patties. What made the experience worst were paper cups for hot coffee, very flimsy paper plates and the cheapest plastic cutlery I have ever had to use."

"Just to be clear, this review is for the Margaritaville Beach Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. ____ My wife and I were only there for one night, but glad we picked this place. The room was clean and the "partial ocean view" was still a great overall view-plenty of ocean to see. Hotels.com description of place was correct. Black out curtains were actually blackout. I slept very well. Restaurants near-by. Walk to the beach took less than a minute. Elevators moved quickly, but be aware, those doors close fast! Only real negative is the parking. Few free spaces available and valet was a bit expensive. Not worth it for us, but for someone reading this review, just be ready to pay $20-30 USD plus tip, if you go with valet parking. Fortunately, we were there in the off season (or so I was told), so I was able to find a parking spot relatively close. Overall, I recommend the place. Would stay again if ever back in Jacksonville Beach FL. *From my wife: Recommend watching the sunrise on the pier. But bring a jacket. It's chilly in the morning. From me: You're considered "a local" ( $1 per person/day) at the pier if you're staying at the Margaritaville hotel. I can't speak to the other hotels, but likely it's the same. Fishing is also available. And yes, she did love the sunrise. "
