The room was surface clean, but just felt dirty. There was an ice maker in the room, but 1) I had no idea how to use it, and 2) it had black specs in it. The shower curtain rod was broken and hanging awkwardly, and there was rust on many surfaces. The bed was very comfortable, but all of the pillows were square. There is also a train that runs directly behind the property. The location is convenient if you want something near historic downtown St Augustine.

The room was very roomy and clean. The bed very comfy. I liked all the amenities, (microwave, fridge, coffee maker). Loved the disposable shower cap. AC worked great. Very secure entrance with double locks. Felt safe.

Friendly staff, clean toom, walking distance to the historic district. Lots of parking. Nice natural area behind the hotel with a thought out deck to sit and watch the wildlife. There is a train that runs by, which we didnt hear from our poolside room. Very good for the reasonable price we paid. We would definitely return.

The overall stay was good. Check-in was very quick, and the front desk staff was excellent. We rented three rooms, which were ok, but the cleaning is poor, especially on the floors. The hotel has a very high level of humidity; the rooms have humidifiers to control it.

Luke warm reception

Hot and cold in shower was reversed, since no one told us, we thought we were out of hot water and took a cold shower. One of us got shocked on a light switch. Service was Luke warm. Had a train come by daily to wake us up.

The location was perfect but the rooms are dated. I’m personally bothered by bathrooms that aren’t well caulked, the tv’s are ancient and you can only use rented DVDs, the fridge didn’t work very well, and the beds were thin and hard. It served its purpose but it felt like it lacked pretty basic amenities.

Only saw front desk staff. Excellent guy named Mikel. Very helpful and friendly. The room was open and helpful for those with mobility issues. Only thing is the tiled shower is extremely slippery and would benefit from extra bathmats to help with that one thing. Everything else was great. The bed was firm but very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay again.

Staff was very nice. Got texts to check in on how our stay was going which is a nice touch. However, we had issues with the A/C and had to deal with it multiple times. This isn’t a big deal but I was told “they had been having issues with that AC unit” so I wish they had chosen a different room for us knowing that it was a problem. Toilet also had problems flushing. I think it’s an older building so it’s all understandable but it was inconvenient and we had a busy schedule. Also, again, I think they should’ve picked another room knowing there was an issue with the AC. Finally, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was considering the location.
