Disliked: Cleanliness
Serves its purpose.
Condo is in a great location. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Cleanliness isn’t a high priority. I understand it is nearly impossible to get all the sand picked up, but I swept 3 dustpans full as soon as we arrived. And had to scrub the shower. The fridge and freezer looked like they hadn’t been wiped down all season.
Parking spot is extremely tight which we expected. We easily parked on the street right by stairway entrance every night to avoid any damages to our vehicle.
Like mentioned before, beds aren’t 5 star comfort. Very thin foam “mattress” but fine for a short stay.
Pool is a nice amenity.
Vacasa is terrible. We noticed the dishwasher was broke when we arrived. No big deal as we didn’t plan to use it. They never notified us in advance, nor did they inform us of the plan to replace it. Until they called to ask me if someone had been there to replace it. They expected me to inform them once the repairmen had been there and swapped the dishwashers so they could “check it off their to do list”. Perhaps informing your renter of this plan should have been on the to do list. I understand they have the right to come in at any time, but it’s still a shock to roll up to your rental and find the door wide open with 2 strange men inside.
Overall the condo served its purpose for the week. It could use a good deep clean and organization. And new management company.
