The room was clean, but the hotel is old and outdated. They seriously need to do a renovation of the hotel but it worked for the couple of nights that we needed a bed.

The pictures online did not match the actual state of the property. I don’t know how long ago the pictures were taken, but the entire property is in need of a complete renovation.

Our rooms were on the same floor but very very far apart. The one room was dirty and after we complained they discovered a cancellation (amazing) that was next door. Our room was dirty and both rooms had a makeshift A/C unit. Our power went out on the one side where the A/C, light and phone were. The coffee pot did not work. The parking lots were far away after the first lot was full.

It was pretty expensive due to the event that was going on, but it looked like the hotel hadn't been updated in a while. The tvs were tiny, the elevator was shaky, paint was chipped, and everything kind of just looked dingy. All of the people that worked there were really nice, though.

We could definitely see the beach from our balcony.the maid service was excellent!!! The front desk staff was extremely nice and very informative, from where to grocery shop to good location for particular food.

Place is a dumb. Like a trap house in a third world country. Pools so dirty you can’t see the bottom, hot tub is 3 ft deep, how’s it so dirty you can’t see the bottom? Would be a 10/10 if I were into being completely blacked out stoned or drunk the whole time.

Great for the $!

Great beach front boardwalk location. Older hotel at half the price of the shiny new ones. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean enough, plenty of towels, good off street parking & no complaints from us. We had a very nice week stay. I hear that Marriott is buying this OC landmark Flagship Hotel & plan to rebuild at the end of summer 2026.

The imperfect, perfect family stay

Fantastic employees!! Wonderful experience customer service wise. We came for my kids first beach trip. She LOVED it! From the questionable elevator, to the adorable play pirate ship, to the questionable indoor pool and hot tub! Definitely not new nor renovated, but overall a great experience!! Would book again.

After finding out pool bar was open by ourselves after being told everything was closed, was a good time. Ocean right there was great. Pool ice cold. Dont use ice machine, was nasty! The place didnt smell good all in all.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Property is completely run down horrible carpet stains everywhere. Air conditioner hanging on by the last thread not cooling comfortably. Room was stale smelling due to temperature fluctuating between hot and cool.
