The room had mold near and in vent, the shower wall had a long black hair. Our beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, the ac and heating wasn’t working properly. I’ve always brought my grandchildren here and loved it, but this last experience wasn’t pleasant.

Great place.

Just as a matter of common courtesy, it would have been nice to be informed that the ice hokey events would be the last night and day. I would have changed our reservations to a few days before or later as we were there to rest and reflect on our 60th. Room 462 was not good. Had mold in the shower ceiling. Our fridge was broken and smelled terrible. The staff did respond and swap it out quickly. There was a scent of urine in the room that we couldn’t figure out or pin down. But beach front view is always great. Staff was friendly. Not sure if all rooms are as bad but I wouldn’t stay in that one again.

1st time to a family tradition

the room was clean! my family had a great time at the Bamboo lounge. the service was excellent. Reef 118 was able to accommodate our group with exceptional service and amazing hospitality. all staff was cheerful and went above and beyond.

I was down at Salisbury University for my 50th College Graduation reunion this past weekend. As an extra special treat for the event, my wife and I decided to stay at the Carousel Hotel on Friday evening, October 10, 2025. Part of the reason for the stay was that we had stayed there 47 years earlier on October 7, 1978, and we have always regarded the Carousel as special. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case, we had a terrible experience on our Friday evening stay. Because of the reunion we checked in around 8 p.m. The check-in was easy and parking was easy. When we went to our room the temperature was 57 degrees with the air conditioning pumping away. I immediately set the thermostat to 72 but the AC continued to blow cold air. My wife and I then went to the front desk and we literally begged to be changed to another room. We were informed that all rooms were under central air and our only option was to turn off the air blower and use a heater that was in the room. My wife and I went back up and indeed there were two radiator heaters in the closet which we immediately plugged in after turning off the fan. We instantly blew a circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. We went back down and reported this new problem and we were told we should only have used one heater. I am not sure how we were to know this since there were two heaters in the room, and the room was very cold. It was a terrible experience

Person at check-in was very nice. Room was decent and clean. View was beautiful. Only drawback to the room was a slamming noise once in a while at all hours. Quite a nice choice for a hotel if you have kids. A lot to offer.

The hotel was nice. People were nice. Happy hour food excellent burgers. Room: View awesome, balcony awesome, size good. Problems: Bathroom: ceiling fan light did not work, so dusty that it did not pull out air. Couch smelled like pee. Did not notice night one too much but the second night we left the balcony door open and the damper ocean air really made is smell strong. Told them at the front desk at check out she was nice but really expected to get an email or response from the manager

The staff was pleasant and the room and hotel was clean. However, the room needed to be updated as it was quite old. Also, we should have been given an ocean view room as this is what we contracted , but it was not available.
