Believe the NEGATIVE reviews. I have worked with the unhoused, and this place needs to be condemned as it is worse than any homeless shelters I have volunteered at. The rooms smell like mold/mildew and smoke. The carpet was always wet. There were other people's hair all over the pillows/beds. Two thin hand towels per room. Underneath the bed I found an empty bowl of food, plastic utensils, my dog found a battery (which she could've swallowed), chips, rotting fruit, etc. The toilet still had someone's fecal matter on the seat and in the bowl. The beds were so gross I slept on top of my beach towels. The lock to the door never worked and I worried about my dog getting out. They placed my dog and I on an upper floor and I had to carry her up/down every potty break because they couldn't put me on the first floor. My dog began to itch from whatever is in the air there, and I got a sinus infection from the mold/smoke. I contacted the Hotels.com the moment I arrived, and they were not helpful, and I could not get a refund. I had to just stick it out for the night or sleep in my car. When I came home, I had to air out my duffle bag and wash everything as it stunk of the place. This experience taught me to always believe the negative reviews before booking. I wouldn't have paid $10 for this room. DO NOT stay here! In my almost 50 years, this is the worst place I have ever stayed at.

It was clean. The beds were nice. They only have tile floor and I hated that, no carpet. The shower was clean, but there was no water pressure, that was a pain. Otherwise, it was a good stay and I would do it again. It was close to all the downtown spots.

Convenient stay

I ran a lot of reviews on the place before I went on my trip. And I brought my own towels and I brought my own coffee maker. So it wasn't that terrible for me. Their towels are small. But they do give you extra towels and I didn't even ask they bring you extra towels toilet paper soap. Customer service was very nice checking was easy. The air conditioner did work very well. It was very spacious. The room was clean. I checked the room thoroughly before I brought my things in. It's very close to the beach one block from the boardwalk. I enjoyed my stay and overall I had no problems.

I was very disappointed with my stay due to the condition of the room. There was visible MOLD present, which is not only unpleasant but also a serious health concern. The musty smell made it hard to feel comfortable, and it raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance overall. For the price, I expected a safe and hygienic environment. Unfortunately, the presence of mold made my stay uncomfortable and left me feeling like the room was not properly cared for. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue immediately so future guests don’t have the same experience.

The Sea Breeze Inn has seen better days - it could use a new paint job, and some weak wood on the stairways should be reinforced. Our bathroom towel bar was missing and our bathroom window's closing latch seemed to be broken (Rm. 307). Coffee in the morning would be nice to have. But these were minor issues for us. Our room was clean and the beds were fine, and the location was excellent, just a block from the boardwalk. The price was the best that we found in the area, too. So overall, we were pretty happy with the Sea Breeze Inn, and we would strongly consider staying there the next time that we're in town.

The room was filthy, trash from previous occupants under the beds, a dirty washcloth left in shower, black pubic hair on sheets and in bathroom, the room reeked of wet dog. The flooring outside is dangerous and falling apart, someone left cigarette butts on the outside windowsill, the fridge and microwave were filthy, the mattress is so thin you end up feeling the wood platform. We did not enjoy our stay at this location.

Would not stay here again. Not the cleanest and bathroom had no exhaust fan to help with steam. There is no garbage can in the bathroom and taking a good shower is impossible bc the water changes from perfect to very hot or cold the entire time.
