Hotel staff was wonderful but the hotel is old and outdated. You have to have the hall light on for the tv to work. The pillows were barely pillows. The room was so so clean. Loved the location & staff but I’ll upgrade to a better hotel next time.

We had a beach view and was impressed how much of the ocean we could see. The room was very clean. The only downside was the TV was very bad. There was no TV guide and the picture quality was terrible.

The air conditioning in my room was broken, so was the phone. I was assured by the front desk staff it would be fixed when I went down to tell them about the issue as soon as I checked in and went to the room. They never even came to the room to check it. The room was 80° all night so I was miserable and no on one could sleep. Further there was human excrement on the front exterior of the toilet.

The website boasts renovated rooms but it doesn't make it clear that not all of the rooms are renovated. We got a first floor room that smelled of mildew and looked out onto the parking lot,which really amplified the dissapointment. The staff was super friendly though, and the rooms were very clean, both upon check in and after the next day service. Location was good! The room was just so old and not what we were expecting based on the pictures. If you book, ask for a not ground floor, renovated room.

Room was well kept and clean. There was rain and wind blowing sand. I'll bet a lot of ocean front rooms were vacant. Next time I will press for upgrade. Wife is tired of looking at jonah and the whale. Tried to get a room on upper east side, so now I will call the more local number.

Liked that they gave us fresh towels every day. We didn't like that we could smell pot in the hallway and elevators. Also in the bathroom there was no place to hang our towels. The towel shelf was broken and the sliding glass door was extremely hard to open and close.
