Good stay for the price.

Jennifer at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I didnt like that there was a portable air conditioner in the room but it kept the room cool so it was whatever. The pool is advertised as heated but it definitely is not heated lol there werent any extra pillows in the room and the 4 that were on the bed were so flat that it didnt feel like we had any.

Great stay, but basic

We've stayed at this hotel for the past few years. This was the first year where the room had no plates, cups, utensils etc. We bought some, so not a big deal, but still should be noted and good to know. Our original room also had no hot water. We let them know, they sent a maintenance man, they checked it, said it was fine, but unfortunately we still had no hot water. They switched our room at this point and we had no issues since then. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. the room is comfortable and on the bigger side which is also nice. Full size fridge is also very helpful. I wish they would update their "gym". its the size of a room, so not very big, very basic machines, no free weights, no space for streching or body weight movements, 2 treadmills, but 1 was broken and the amount of humidity in there felt more like a sauna than a gym. All in all its a good bang for your buck, but i wish they would update things, would make the stay even better

the hotel is a quick walk to the beach and has convenient parking. We have stayed at the Bonita for the last 8 years but unfortunately will not be returning. Front desk staff are very unfriendly, barely acknowledged you or look up when you enter the lobby; the room was clean but definitely showed it wear and tear. Convenience items such as utensils, dishes and drinkware that were provided previously are no longer provided. the pillows are terrible and should have been replaced 2 years ago. Don't expect room service to come to your room - once you check in you are on your own. This used to be a great place, but not anymore
