There was mold in the shower, stains on the towels, linens and lamp shades. The ceiling had cobwebs and so much dust. Not clean at all. Room was large which I liked and the hotel had good parking and amenities. Good location.

Bonita was within walking distance to the beach and had its own parking, some of it shaded. We chose this hotel because of these amenities. However, our room's a/c was apparently broken, so they had put a temporary unit in the room. It was very loud, didn't keep the room very cool, even at night. The room was clean. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were very flat. The bathroom was a nice size, but the shower/tub was a little outdated. We both tripped on the side of the tub because of how high it was from the floor. The staff were kind and welcoming. We didn't use the pool or game room, but appreciated they were available. The hotel was pretty quiet overall.

Bonita Beach Hotel (a part of Carousel Group of Hotels) appeared recently painted and reasonably clean for the age of the hotel. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. However, we had a sewage problem that was not addressed in a timely manner and we never saw it resolved while waiting for six hours. So, we checked out early. Our request for a refund for the remaining two nights was denied. Complimentary wireless internet is NOT secure. Security lights at night on each balcony are as bright as the noonday sun. Significant amount of street noise outside because of the location. When renting a two-star hotel, our expectations are not high. But we do expect a timely response when there is a problem that affects the health and wellbeing of the occupants. That did not happen.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is getting old and it's starting to show, but the room was reasonable and clean. I stay there for bikefest every time I'm in OCMD.

The door the first night was broken and didn’t lock and we didn’t realize it until the next day. We had to redue our key’s everyday. The sheets were stained. And their idea of compensation was 10% discount for a future visit. Hmmm not compensation at all if you ask me.

This hotel met all the stars. From the minute, we checked in with Jennifer at the front desk, who may I say was extremely friendly and very helpful. To the minute we checked out, the elevators were a big plus, and although the room could have used a little updating, it was clean. And as comfortable as I could’ve asked for. Would definitely stay here again and I’m very picky…

Great, but could be a little better!

I was surprised to have a totally unequipt kitchen. Not a plate, a fork or a paper towel. I researched prior to arriving, & read (in a review) that there were basic kitchen supplies. Not true. Had to go out & buy plates, etc. AND the key cards constantly need rebooting. The lights on the balconies are too bright. No one was out at any time while I was there. The lighting was almost intrusive. Otherwise, the place was great. I loved the sun deck off of the pool.
