"I would have loved to give 5 stars but due to the fact at about 8:45 PM we heard a terrible, loud noise. As I was going down the hall to go to the front desk, I noticed a door opened in the room where the ice machine was. I said “excuse me” and was greeted by a maintenance worker. I asked him if he was drilling as I heard the sound. We were about 4 doors down and the sound was very loud. He said he had about 10-15 minutes and he would be done. He then continued. My problem with this is that my husband and I had gone away for the weekend to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. After driving and being on the go the whole day my husband had fallen asleep and was woken up when the drilling started. He was not happy! I would have thought that that kind of noise would not have happened in the evening. Not very relaxing. We did like the room, but not so much with the noise. "

"Overall we had a decent stay. Our room was clean and I really liked the shower and the included lotion, body wash, and conditioner. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the hotel is in a perfect location with a lot of stores nearby, which made everything very convenient. One downside was that the walls seem thin because I could hear the people in the room next to us. My room also didn’t have carpet, which I personally didn’t mind. The biggest concern was the pool area. Unfortunately, I saw about five people slip while entering the pool because the steps in the water are very slippery. One of the people who fell was my son. The handle bar going into the pool is also very loose, which makes me think others may have fallen and grabbed onto it. This is a serious safety hazard and something that really needs attention. The hot tub was very nice though, no complaints there. Overall it’s a good hotel and could easily be a 5-star experience if the pool safety issue was fixed."

"Our bartender was an absolute gem! Kristen can carry a conversation, offer a joke, make eye contact & is a very hard worker. I don’t remember the front desk gentleman’s name, he also was funny & helpful."
