Fantastic positioning, very near to Central Park and Times Square and walkable to many other places. Great, comfortable and clean room with excellent bed. Breakfast was lovely too with just enough choice and good quality. We loved our time there and would use again to access this part of New York.

Our second time staying at Hotel Scherman while in the city to see Broadway shows. The hotel staff are all very welcoming, helpful and professional, something the chain hotels don’t seem to emphasize much any more. Sometimes the nightlife on the street can be a little loud, but what can you expect if you’re in New York City. Anything and everything one might want to do is easily within walking distance. Will always think of Hotel Scherman first when needing hotel accommodations in NYC and recommend everyone do so as well.

Beautiful room, loved the brick walls and loft feel of it. Big shower and nice bathroom. Loved the fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Staff was extremely accommodating and made our stay so easy!

The hotel staff was always super friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the rooftop patio area! If you’re looking for a not so crowded hotel that’s close to everything this is it! We would definitely stay here again!

Check-in was nice and easy. The room and beds were very clean and comfortable. We stayed on a Saturday night so there was quit a bit of music noise coming from some bar to the back of our room. Perhaps a higher room would be better. The bathroom needs some updating. I have never seen a smaller sink in my life - there was no possibility of washing one’s face in that sink. The shower took forever to get hot and the shower fixtures were some of the worst I have experienced in a 4-star level hotel. The free breakfast was just ok. The coffee was weak the bagels are not NY (odd) and the yogurts offered are the brand that is given in food pantries. The location is amazing though walking distance to Times Square on a cool street with many dining options.

If you want to go to Hell’s Kitchen and have an accessible place to crash after filling your soul with excellent food and drink, this is your home. Great vibe inside, quality room and very quiet despite being right on the street and next to great bars and restaurants. Parking a block away was easy, plus if you want a bagel in the morning it’s two blocks away!

To begin the hotel is very small. You will miss it if you are driving by. But it is a nice spot. Very clean, nicely decorated rooms and great staff. Nice roof top terrace and its a few blocks from times sqaure. Hundreds of restaurants in the area that walking distance.

Best hotel I have ever been in NYC

The hotel is very small and cute. The rooms are clean and very well decorated, with a lot of taste. It is in a very busy street but the windows are isolating you from the noise. Very peaceful. Highly recommended if you want great place and avoid the big touristic and expensive hotels with lack of taste. Great location.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Scherman! The location is great and convenient for Broadway and tons of awesome dining options. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The room was perfectly clean and spacious. I will definitely look at this hotel next time I plan on staying in NYC.
