Good place, but bad experience
Booked this at the very last minute and chose this because of space and layout…mostly because there were TWO golf carts.
Received a text on arrival day that larger golf cart was inoperable (they picked up day 2 and we never saw it again).
Door code did not work upon arrival…finally resolved after waiting…outside, in the dark, for 45 minutes.
We had to take one cart plus a car to the beach every day, which is not what we had planned.
Bug in the master bedroom on night 1 (killed it on night 2) other than that, house was clean.
Person I assume to be the owner was responsive, and watching the turtles behind the house was a treat.
Lots of little things around the house that just made it short on stars: can opener didn’t work, griddle was broken into three pieces, nightstand in master was missing drawer pulls, master dresser drawers came completely out when pulled, trash in drawers, bathroom door in bunk room had to be slammed in order to lock it (that was fun with teenage boys), the stick to open and close the blinds in family room was broken, and the beach canopy was broken (but still functional). Be prepared you will need to bring your own beach towels, and we had to buy pot holders for the kitchen (which we accidentally left).
Multiple inquiries about a credit for lack of the second golf cart went unanswered after our trip. I will find a better place to stay next time.
