Stayed here for one night. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to experience the pool areas and such. We walked around the grounds at night in the rain and it was still breath taking. Would love to stay longer the next time I am back in the area.

We loved the property grounds and attention to detail from the walking paths to the lagoon and the tiki torches. Our favorite time was spent in the evening on the beach as it was so calm and peaceful. We wish the beach was more usable and swimmable however. Even getting the kayaks into the water was unpleasant, I would definitely not recommend swimming there. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, Stephanie K did a wonderful job cleaning our room and the kids loved finding their stuffies organized when returning to the room. Speaking of rooms, the 1 bedroom suite was perfect! We stayed in a few resorts/ hotels during this trip and it was so nice to have a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and massive bathroom with a separate tub. We don’t normally visit the same resort twice just to be able to experience new places but Cheeca is one resort we will come back to!

We enjoy our stays at this resort. We had two adjoining rooms this year and one room was very nice, while the second room was not. Lots of things damaged in the room, shower didn’t work, door handle to porch falling off. Hotel seems to need some maintenance done throughout. However, the staff is lovely and the food and activities are nice. I wish the housekeeping staff would start later as one room didn’t have door hanger and they would start knocking at 8am every morning.

Peaceful, beautiful and well-serviced rooms, pools, and resort in the Keys. Location in Islamorada is nicer than Key Largo and closer to airports than other Keys. Lots of restaurants nearby.
