Great little historic hotel right on Ocean Drive facing the beach! We really enjoyed the hotel and its charm! Our room was very clean and the marble floors are great! The staff were very friendly and responsive when called upon. Depending on the time of year parking can be a little tricky as the hotel has no onsite parking. Plan to park in one of the city parking garages or use one of the valet services on Collins Street behind the hotel ($50 a night during our stay.)

The staff at the hotel we absolutely charming, wonderful and helpful in every way. The property, however, was a bit worn-out with multiple paint coats over old paint, and maintenance needed on fixtures, flooring, etc. Location is great -right across the beach, great dining available, but property simply a bit old and unkept.

The beacon Hotel is located in the heart of the art deco district of South Beach. Location is fantastic. Easy access to beach and walkable to any type of food you desire. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The downside is this hotel looks like it hasn't had many updates since the 50s.
