Rude staff within entire property including the bar and front desk, requested to speak to manager on duty twice and no one was available. Forced to use valet while self park was available but security blocked off entrance due to holiday. No credit refund given back for valet when requested and manager would not speak to me at check out. I will never recommend this hotel to friends. Hyatt Regency a mile away has better customer service and staff is over accommodating and professional.

I am reviewing this hotel negatively because they are not transparent on their website about the parking situation for guest on event nights. I stayed at this hotel five nights during the 4th of July and paid $180 to attend their VIP Barbecue. If you pay $180 dollars to attend an event then the last thing you should worry about is having parking made available at the hotel. They need to either supply sufficient guest parking or provide a complimentary rate valet service for guests attending their event. I had to incur fees for two nights of valet because I was told by the concierge that if I did not valet my car I may be towed. I contacted reservations after my stay with the following email: "Dear Sir or Madam, I have some concerns regarding my stay at the Biltmore. I stayed at the Biltmore from July 2 to July 7, and I also purchased two tickets for the 4th of July Barbecue. Upon arrival I was notified that I would need to leave my car with the hotel valet or risk being towed the day of the event because the hotel parking actually belonged to the city. I thought that I was going to be able to secure self-parking throughout my stay with the hotel; however, I was not able to do so. I had actually planned to visit my family on the 4th of July and then attend the barbecue in the evening; however, due to the parking situation I was not able to do so. I had no other option but to leave my car with valet for two nights (on the 3rd & 4th) because I was told valet would be full on

Great Hotel

Pros: The architecture, the pool and the location.
We loved the hotel. The pool is the most beautiful we have ever seen. The hotel is majestic. Service was very good and the neighborhood is beautiful.
