Outstanding home, a gem in the center of Pinecrest

We had a wonderful stay in this property, four adults and an infant. There are slim pickings for accommodations in South Dade and that makes this option so much more attractive. Pinecrest is a unique area where most of the home lots are an acre or more. And, that is what you have here. You have a virtual soccer field in the back yard. The host has had the home in her family for decades. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Home

My sister was having her baby shower in Miami. We rented this home to save money on hotels and eating out. We were blown away by the communication prior to our arrival. Check in was easy and the house was immaculately clean. The owner even called me the night we checked, while on her own vacation in California, to check on us and see if everything was okay. The rest of the stay was just as wonderful. BTW, this house and backyard is way bigger than it looks in the photos! If she will have us, we hope to stay at this home again.

The listing was very misleading. Please read all the listed items before you book this place. Listing says the following: Direct TV or cable or Satellite - ONLY FREE CHANNELS AVAILABLE NO CABLE OR SATELLITE THE INSTRUCTIONS TELL YOU TO USE THE WHITE CONTROLLER. THE WHITE CONTROLLER IS FOR THE DVD PLAYER AND NOT THE DIRECT TV. YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHANGE THE INSTRUCTIONS. HERE'S THE LISTING- "Updated ranch style home equipped with all the things you need to enjoy you t time with your loved ones.".KITCHEN HAS KNIVES THAT ARE RUSTED, FRYING PANS HANDLES ARE LITERALLY FALLING OFF, OTHER POTS ARE DISGUSTING WITH RUST WITH CRAP ON THEM, STOVE HAS ALL THE BURNERS BARELY ATTACHED TO THE STOVE AND ARE EXTREMELY UNEVEN SO YOUR FRYING PAN TILITS. FURNITURE IS FROM THE 80'S - 90'S BUT IS COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN DESPITE AGE. KITCHENS CABINETS ARE LAMINATE FROM THE 80'S WITH A BLACK STRIP, IT WOULDN'T HURT TO GET AN UPDATED RANGE SO YOU CAN COOK PROPERLY. AND FRYING PANS FROM TH NEARBY TARGET FOR 19.99 FOR A 3PC. THE POOL IS COLD AS IT'S NOT IN THE SUN BECAUSE OF THE PATIO ROOF. THE POOL AREA DOES NOT HAVE A LOUNGE CHAIR TO SIT AND ENJOY THE SUN. YOU HAVE TO SIT ON A PATIO CHAIR. THAT IS SO UNACCEPTABLE. IT WOULD HURT TO BUY A POOL LOUNGE CHAIR, MY GOD. SOME OF THE LIGHT BULB DO NOT WORK. THE WIFI INSTRUCTIONS HAD THE WRONG PASSWORD, IT TOOK ME AN HOUR GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER WHO HAD TO TRY AND GET AHOLD OF THE OWNER TO GET IT RIGHT. HE GAVE A RANDOM GUESS AND GOT IT RIGHT AFTER HE AND I WENT BACK AND FORTH TRYING DIFFERENT PASSWORD AROUND THE ONE THE OWNER WROTE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. REALLY, A SIMPLE PASSWORD?? I EMAIL THE OWNER AND EVOLVE SEVERALS TIMES AND GOT NO RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER, EVOLVE SENDS YOU A GENERAL MESSAGE BACK WHICH IS USELESS. THE HOT WATER HEATER IS PRESET TO A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE TO SAVE MONEY AS WELL AS THE AC WHICH IS PROGRAMMED TO GO TO 79 DEGREES AT NIGHT. THE TV HAD DUST ON THE TOP OF IT EHERE YOU CAN WRITE YOUR NAME, THE BED HEADBOARD HAD DUST ON IT. 2 OUTLETS DID NOT WORK. THE HOUSE SHOULD BE IN WORKING ORDER IF YOU'RE GOING TO LIST AS AN UPDATED UPSCALE HOUSE AS LISTED. I'M NOT VERY PICKY AND NOT A CLEAN FREAK BELIEVE ME. I DON'T LIKE GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. IF YOU'RE GOING TO SLEEP AND SHOWER, IT'S THE PERFECT HOUSE, IF YOU'RE GOING TO WATCH TV, SWIM, SIT OUTSIDE, OR COOK. DO NOT STAY HERE. THE HOUSE IS NICE, IT'S A SHAME THE CONTENTS ARE CRAP. GET YOUR LISTING CORRECTED OR UPDATE THE HOUSE.

Fantastic place to relax and sleep!

Myself and 6 other guys went down for A bachelor party, we were able to have a great place to sleep and relax access to a washer and dryer and plenty of space for everyone to spread out was key and this place fit the bill! Our only complaint and not really a complaint but rather a suggestion would be to warm the pool up in the colder months, perhaps solar panels could be installed. Aside from that, an absolute 5 star property!

Good stay overall.

We have stayed there 8 days in February. The house is located in a quiet residential area. You have to remember that traffic in and around Miami is awefull, so choose your location carefully. The house and backyard are spacious. The kitchen well supplied, but the appliances and cupboards are quite old. On the second day of our stay the dishwasher broke down and we had a flood in the kitchen. A plumber came and after a day and a half we had the kitchen back . Good communication with the managing team. Thank you Julianna for you assistance.
