For the price point, every staff member should be going above and beyond. Some did: Daniel at the beach, the young lady at check in, the bellman at check in. But many acted as if we were bothering them if we had a request or a question. Again, for price point, service should be above and beyond, and many times it was avg or below avg. Beach service was very slow and infrequent, “starts” at 11:30 (too late) and in reality never had a server before 12ish, then took 30-45 min to get food. Restaurants were both 7/10. Nothing to write home about. For the money spent, we won’t be returning. We’ve stayed at comparable properties within a mile or so, with 10/10 restaurants and 10/10 service.

Upgrade was supposed to be in reservation notes (per Ritz area executive) but were not and refused upgrade even though property was EMPTY. Then at check in told we would be given instead an "oceanview" room but received exactly the same room that we already had booked. A shell game. Hotel and beach bars are ridiculously small for such a large property. Pay a huge "Resort Fee" but they still nickel and dime guests on other fees.

This hotel was established as an after-thought converting one of many Residence towers into a hotel. Poor Bar. Awful breakfast buffet. In general, I was surprised to find a Ritz-Carlton that doesn't deliver real value.

I recently stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service and making sure I felt welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. The food was good with a decent variety to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The highlight, though, was the incredible ocean view from my room. It was breathtaking and unbelievably relaxing perfect for a peaceful getaway. Waking up to that view every morning was unforgettable. One thing to note: the hotel does show a bit of its age, so if you’re looking for something ultra-modern and cutting edge in terms of design, you might notice some wear. However, this was by no means a deal breaker. The exceptional service and stunning views more than make up for it, and I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is very old for the price, there was smell in the room and it was too late to go down, next day we told them, and they didnt adjust price or something, we stayed just one night and payed 2.5 days cause we arrived early and left 4 pm, we thought they would at least have the gesture to discount the .5 day
