This is a dated and in much needed upgrades hotel. Everything about it screams - give me a face lift. During our 6 day stay we had a building water shut off to fix some plumbing issues; the shower switch in our room was not working well; the whole HVAC system is sooo old and sleeping at night with air being too cold or none at all was uncomfortable :( The good - we had a fully functioning kitchen and were able to cook if we needed to; the hotel is right in the beach :) the pool was nice too! Overall, if you are a budget traveler and can handle old to mediocre decode/ amenities but can enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean - this is your hotel.

Good location. Room smelled like mold. Top of lights not cleaned in eons. Only has one luggage cart, so good luck in getting to use it before you check out. Pool was clean and fun to use.

Very dirty, clening was not done at all just beds made, toilet clogged could not fix it so had to call everyday, even for the price it was just disgusting

Nice people near the beach,pool but room old and after upgrade the conditions did not get better. The AC was working 24/7 and not doing any better. the upgrade was with a fantastic view but the old room was unacceptable, the room service was poor. For the money it did not pay to stay again. I will not recommend.

Extra Charges/Fees

Pros: The pool area had a great view of the ocean so regardless of having to pay extra for chairs on the beach, I was able to grab a spot on the pool deck.
Cons: Update the rooms- shower, faucet, etc.
Location: There isn't really much close to walk to. I stayed a few nights prior at Sole on the Ocean just a few blocks down and there were tons of restaurants.
I was not very impressed with my stay at this hotel. I was in Miami for work and had to get a box of supplies shipped to me, which I was then charged a fee for by the concierge - just a way for the hotel to collect incremental money for no reason. I also needed to print a few documents, but their "business center" was out of order and the concierge refused to print 10 pages for me so I had to take a Lyft to a UPS store nearby just to print. Lastly, I had multiple visits by maintenance while I was trying to get ready for work and received no apologies for the inconvenience.
