Boiler Room Noise
My wife and I stayed at this hotel in April 2024. We stayed here several times and had a great experience. However, when we stayed in April 2024, there was a very loud and excruciating noise that came from the boiler room. Our room was on the 15th floor and about every 1 hour we heard that very loud noise that startled us. The staff pretended not to know what we were talking about until the security guard confirmed the terrible noise. The front desk staff then acknowledged the issue but stated that there was nothing that could be done. From Wednesday until Friday my wife and I did not get a lick of sleep because as soon as we closed our eyes the noise from the boiler would wake us up. We plan to never stay in this hotel again. One positive observation, this was one of the easiest hotels to check into, and the staff were very friendly. The Director of Sales for this hotel, Bettina Key was so very nice as well.

Truly a “Comfort Inn”
The room was clean, water pressure great and the breakfast was decent and hot. My boyfriend was also able to hook his PS5 to the tv so that was a plus as well. I had to pay $26 for parking which I believe was a bit excessive but I’m grateful that the hotel had a garage rather than parking my rental on the street or in a paid lot with a daily fee. Overall stay was great and worth the money.

The hotel was in walking distance to the convention center which was a plus. The ambience of the hotel felt dreary inside. We had problems with the card reader to get into the garage and hotel.

Great base to visit Memphis
This was an excellent and comfortable base for visiting Memphis for a few days . Parking was easy. We used the car to visit Graceland and sun studios. However it was only a few minutes walk to the streetcar line which took us to the civil rights museum and we could easily walk to Peabody hotel and Beale Street. On arrival reception gave us a map and directions to all these. We felt very safe walking on these main routes. Breakfast was plentiful and kept refilled.

A Great Stay

Memphis….ahhhh
From check in to check out the staff here are simply amazing. So friendly and welcoming with genuine people. The hotel is located just right from all the attractions. There is a beautiful trolley that runs all day long from a few streets away that will take you to Beale Street, Central BBQ and the Lorraine Motel and Civil Rights Center where MLK Jr was killed. Walking distance to most amazing restaurants and taverns. The room was excellent with a westerly view of the Mississippi River and the 3 bridges that cross. It’s very quiet and safe with a security guard on premises at all times. Bed was very comfortable and the cleaning staff was excellent with new towels and accessories for your comfort. It seemed that every where you went and the local people you met were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Graceland wasn’t too far with a short Uber ride away. A must see as well as the Lorraine Motel/Civil Rights Museum.

All the staff was excellent and the breakfast was amazing! I loved that they had coffee/tea always available and even cookies. My room was cleaned very well. The only negative was the continual construction, the drilling was alot. It did stop at night.
