Friendly, helpful staff. I walk with a stroller, they were there to open doors before I even go near them. Very clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m GF but that wasn’t a problem either. Food was excellent, large variety. Would recommend

While the hotel is clean and the staff offer good service, I unfortunately can’t recommend staying here. My double room was so small that it barely fit the bed, and the air conditioning was extremely noisy. The bathroom was tiny, which is fine, but the poor sound insulation made it impossible to relax — I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Despite the central London location, the overall experience was disappointing.

On arrival we were told we had been upgraded, upon entering our room we were quite shocked at how (cosy) it was, and did wonder what our original room would have been like! but it was very clean and new looking . Bed legs are a danger to toes, stubbed them numerous times, and only one pillow each was disappointing.Generally, would be happy to return.

Great stay

Lovely to be upgraded. The room was superb and I slept well. Freshly renovated. Spotless. Kettle, tea and coffee. Brilliant hot shower with a choice of shower heads. What I love is that there is all you need in a compact space without feeling cramped. I hate superfluous cushions and paraphernalia. The location is perfect and being an older single traveller it's essential I am close to theatres, shops, restaurants etc. A special mention for all the front of house staff. Couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. The lovely concierge even took me out of the hotel to direct me in the right direction very happily. St. Giles suits me a treat and I will be back. P.s I love the new decor on the landings.

Terrible! Upon check in assigned me three rooms, yes three, that had already been occupied. So I walked in on three people unexpectedly. When asked to complain to the manager, the said manager offered me a cancellation and suggested “you can always go elsewhere”. Avoid this hotel! London is a great city don’t let this hotel spoil your experience

Not fancy, but perfectly good place to stay. Can’t beat the location, close to Soho and Covent Garden, and steps from the Underground where you can ride directly to and from Heathrow. 24 hour snack and sundries on mezzanine, and take away pizza in the afternoon/evening if you want to stay in. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, the stay was good, but a few things took the shine off. Firstly, when arriving to check in the computer system was down, and staff were having to work manually, not their fault, but there was a serious lack of organisation and communication to arriving guests which meant the lobby area was rammed full of frustrated people who had little idea of what was happening and sat waiting for a long time with no offer of refreshments. Secondly, the lifts, clearly nowhere enough to cope with the amount of guests, you can be waiting 10 minutes for one to arrive and when it does, the cleaning staff have sometimes filled them up, NOT good. Then the shower! My wife always showered before me, which meant she stepped onto a nice dry floor which was fine. Then when I went in onto a wet floor, it was like an ice rink, first time I did it very nearly catch me out and could have ended up with a nasty slip. Please put down a non slip floor in your showers. Finally, the photos on the website are maybe not representative of the rooms, ours was definitely smaller than expected and had literally no storage space, one rail to act as a wardrobe was it, no drawers and not even a little bed side table. And, don’t expect the usual folder or literature of what facilities the hotel has or what’s local. Bearing in mind they are in near central London, massive trick being missed. Would I stay there again, probably not, which is a shame as all the staff I encountered were excellent.

Distance to subway is great. Food options, you have the fast food. Primark is just opposite. Room can be cleaner, bed is found with hair on it, and needs cleaning really. Noisy on the walkway, surely no soundproof to minimum extent. Lift is super long with 3 in operation but just too slow.
