Great stay at Millenium

Ths hotel stay was great. I stayed for five days in a clubroom which had one king bed and a sofa bed. The room was larger than I imagined from pictures of webpage. Millenium hotel is located in front of a park which is very nice (also very close to the US ambassodor). Bus stations and undervround (subway) station are in working distance (2-5 minutes). Hotel's wi-fi was free and good quality. also free cable connection to a router. Continental breakfast which was included was good with fish, egg, saussage, dri ks, etc. Also club lounge was open for coffee, tea, drinks, snacks. It was great and my family enjoyed those five days. I strongly reco.mend this hotel.

Great place from which to explore London.

Pros: Location, view of Grosvenor Square from room, easy access to Tube.
Cons: We liked the breakfasts but would love to see healthier items such as bagels rather than croissants, etc.
Location: Walking through Mayfair is always fun and it's a short walk to Hyde Park. And, it's only a few blocks to the Bond Street Underground.
This was our third or fourth stay and, as in the past, it was a very positive experience. The hotel staff was most friendly and helpful.

This was a disappointing stay. Pluses - good bed, pillows, nice amenities, towels, pants press, and safe. Then the rest went downhill. Toilet wouldn't flush, bathroom tile floors were cracked, shower sprayed more outside the tub than inside, mold growing on bathroom ceiling, entry needed painting, furniture was badly damaged, carpet needed vacuuming, upholstering was dingy, refrigerator hard to open and didn't get cold. All-in-all not a good experience. Had lunch which was tasty but verrry expensive. The cost was far too much for the stay compared to another hotel we stayed at two weeks earlier. Would not recommend or stay again.

welcome comfort after a long flight

This hotel was first class. We arrived early morning to an awaiting room without the hassle of securing an early check-in. The beds are wonderful! Like a hug from home. It is a very good location, but you will do some walking to get to the tube, 10 minutes to Green Park, and 6 minutes to Bond Street stations. But located close to good shopping, and just across the street from the US Embassy. I thought the hotel breakfast was a bit overpriced, for moderate service. Overall, everyone was helpful, professional, and welcoming. Good taxi stand outside when you need it.

excellent location plus room

The Millenium in Grosvenor Square is a great location, with lovely rooms. The front desk, room service, and lobby area were all more than satisfactory. The bed, shower, tv, all fine. My only critique is very dim lighting in the room. Have stayed there before and would again!

Fitness Center is NOT open 24 hours.

This was one of the choices from our travel agent. The other two were much more expensive. We actually did get a very good deal on the room and it is located in an area that gets more business traffic than tourists. But it was very nice and quiet. It is across the street from a park. We signed up for a tour and the tour bus stopped at this hotel to pick up passengers. The rooms were very nice. We did not feel cramped at all. There was a small refrigerator in the room and a coffee pot. The people at the concierge desk were extremely helpful and answered all of our questions from confirming our tour to telling us the best place to convert our money to pounds. My biggest disappointment is that the web site says that the fitness center is open 24 hours but it isn't. They don't have any hours posted on site and one day none of our keys would work to get inside. The people at the front desk said that it didn't open until 7am. Their website still reflects a 24 hour fitness center - 7 months later.

Great Hotel in the Heart of Mayfair

This is a great hotel located in Grovenor Square, close by the US Embassy in London. The rooms are not large, but better than average by London standards. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I ordered room service the night I was there and the food arrived promptly, was fresh, and the overall quality was excellent. One small drawback to the hotel is that although the hotel is situated in a beautiful area of London, this isn't the liveliest part of the city, so there isn't a lot of nightlife near by. This may be a plus or a minus depending on your point of view. If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet hotel in a 5 star of London, then this is a great choice. If you are looking for a hotel with restuarants, pubs, and clubs right on your doorstep then this may not be the right hotel for you.

Excellent location, excelent value for money

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel in the heart of London and just a few steps away from the main attractions. Located in the sought after Mayfair location close to all consulates, good restaurants (you can go for high tea to the Dorchester which is just a few blocks away) and parks. The price I got from travel agent was excellent for money and the hotel was very nicely decorated, friendly and corteous staff, clean, beautiful ball room or meeting rooms, nice decor, good food. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely like to stay here for my next visit.
